I actually thought in one point that depending on how much taxes we're paid from the MB would determine the progress of the economy and buildings in the game but it was just from patches giving an illusion of change. A way to help make the world alive would to make actual interactions and a favor system availaible for npcs. It'd at least give us something to do in the world besides grinding and community stuff.

If anything, I'd like to see lvl 60 duty trash be somewhat challenging or rewarding instead of "train a couple packs to burn down on the way to the boss fight". Either have them drops chest with dragonskin map quality items or mob-specific items, and more abilities and higher hp pools, attack power. Granted, I do enjoy getting my expert roulettes( the odd time I do them now lol) done in 15-20mins, but I recall having to /rest in FFXI between single mob trash pulls because the fights were actually engaging and difficult. It'd be nice to have a taste of that in FFXIV granted with a effort-comparable reward.

I'd like that too. HW enemies might be stronger, but altogether every enemy in a dungeon feels the same, just some average non-threatening mobs to fight without any or little items that's worth it. I took a look at FFXI's Nyzul Isle Investigations, its a random dungeon area with tough enemies that actually drop loot that's equal to that difficulty.

Well, if you don't heal they are a threat, if you don't stun they are a threat, if you don't kill the right one first they are a threat, so you can't say they aren't a threat, it's just the content has been out long enough to know what to do and not to do. You can't really spice that up because once you get to a certain IL and understanding of a dungeon you can't really make it difficult unless you lower your own IL and just make AOE spam impossible to pull off.

#FeartheDahak All the Assault instances were fun, Nyzul was probably the best though. It would be nice to have this and something like Dynamis, but with longer time restrictions. I think nyzul was like 30 mins?(edit if I am mistaken) or remove time and make it gauntlet style: you go till you wipe.

Jumping Puzzles in world, dungeons and raids, and even boss fights you have to jump arround in a more demanding way than just standing on platforms, with the inbuilt delay, it would be such a joy.

Content that survives outside of its patch cycle, preferably not of the "grind so much you want to take a powerdrill to your forehead" variety
