But actually on topic, I 100% agree PS4 players need a damage meter.

But actually on topic, I 100% agree PS4 players need a damage meter.

Here's a few things to consider.
- Not everyone is a hard core player who needs to know these things.
- Not everyone is mature enough to use them "nicely".
- FFXIV is a game; we play these for fun, not to wangst over our damage output like it is the end of the world.
- SE doesn't endorse them for a reason!
- Why not do the easiest thing and check the Battle Chat-Log if you want to know what damage was done by who?
TLR I'm a PS4 player and I don't want a parser involved in my gaming.

PS4 Player to the bone.
I am a mixed bag on this one personally.
PRO
1. Good to know what I am doing in raid/dungeon working with everyone else.
CON
1. If the rest are not pulling an optimum rotation themselves, I may have lower DPS than I really should, but I have no control over it.
PRO
1. I would like to know how my rotation actually is working on the battlespace. I would also like to have a way to experiment with variations to the rotation.
CON
1. Against a dummy, this is a mote point except to try out and prefect rotations.
Sure think that having a way to parse the game for the PS4 community is a good think on an individual level, but not really sure that it will help in any way with how the game is played overall.
