Thread: 3.1 needs to be absolutely great

The word 'expectation' does not exist in my world. I do not expect nor do I do not expect something to be. I simply lack the concept of expecting. Why?

When you expect time A to B for something to be released, you needlessly wasting time thinking about something that is yet to exist. Just let it come when it does, no need to wait for it. It will come when the time comes for it. It makes life easier that way, so that you can focus on what's actually in front of you. Instead of having to worry about being 'disappointed' about something after months of waiting.

That's fine and all but I am sure others feel differently because they are investing time and money in something and if they feel its not worth it...well, then there's gonna be problems ^^;

That is true... but one can never fully be satisfied. True you are investing time and money into this game, you are sure to have some level of expectation for the next. But I would still say it's just simply needless to waste energy at this point.

You know the sad part... I always have my expectations set to low with patches... I mean just once in all this time I'd like to have them set high and be pleasantly surpised about it. But history kinda has a way of repeating itself.

Though the island exploration stuff sounds really fun I don't really know what to expect from it - it sounds like open world dungeons really... but a bit more controlled(i.e. limited amount of parties in an instance).

And well with 2 zetas and going on 3rd I will be working on the new relic but I really wish they would make it so that those that want to grind it out can do it in a few days while those of us that want to do various stuff can do it an a few weeks(like mby 3-4 weeks without actually doing anything trully grindy). But I know I will most likely be disapointed and will again have some RNG grind like atma that took me 2 months to get all the first time while most of my friends were on books after 3 weeks

No matter how well the content is developed and no matter how long it holds your attention, people will still complain. True story.

Is not the same having 2 people complaining than having 1 million complaning. That argument is no reason to think things can`t change and in fact, improve.
