This is just as bad cause then you or others like that not being any better then the rest of the group, don't like the group leave and eat the penalty don't contribute to the problem.

Why should I eat a penalty if I'm playing my class the way I'm supposed to and we get nowhere? When a group fails multiple times consistently then the group will never ever proceed, especially if the fault is on more than one player.

There is no reason the player doing their job, doing mechanics, should be penalized for incompetency from their dungeon mates
