    Fatigue as a Crafter.

Today was the first time I've hit fatigue on a DOH class. When I hit fatigue on a DOW class, it wasn't a big deal, especially when they increased the SP gain in a recent patch. When ranking up a crafting job, there is an increase in materials, and of course, time. Of course there is an increase in time with any class but for a DOH class there is an increase in expenses and prep time.

Does anyone agree that there is a greater time sink when it comes to hitting fatigue as a DOH class? Hopefully SE can address this issue.

Yeah, I think fatigue on DoH is way worse than fatigue on DoW/DoM.

Killing a mob is a profit or break-even endeavor. Doing a synth takes longer and is a net loss generally (while grinding). I've never found a recipe I could grind off of profitably unless I farmed mats (which is a cost in time).

Also, my DoW/DoM level up way faster than DoH possibly can. You can't leve-link DoH. You can't put together a party to grind on mobs where you take a few seconds to get +300 SP for everyone. They could double DoH leve SP and I'd still rank up slower on it then DoW/DoM.

I've hit fatigue on DoH many times. It sucks worse than on DoW/DoM (on them I don't even really care). Look at how long it takes to farm gigantoad skins and such to grind on LW and any penalty to gained SP is killer.

Apparently it's going to be adjusted at some point. My say is, it should be done and over with, no other MMO I've played has implemented a fatigue system. Why should we be penalized for trying to rank up quick? I'm not looking forward to grinding through ranks when the cost of materials greatly increases and when it takes 60k+ SP for a rank.....

Isn't it true that once you hit fatique, you have to wait like a week or something until that fatique goes away? If that is true, I would think it's better if they lowered the waiting time to something much more managable. If I'm wrong though, let me know.

There is a hard reset for your fatigue which takes a week to reset. There are ways to reduce the amount of fatigue or pro long the time it takes to hit fatigue by waiting or ranking up another class(Although I don't know the rates at which your fatigue is lessened). At least, these seem like ways to combat fatigue. So I did a small test last night.

Right hen I hit fatigue on BSM I quickly changed to a DOW class and obtained about 2k SP. Then I changed back to BSM to find myself increasing my bonus skill points. Next, I changed to CRP and did about 4k in SP. Changed back to BSM with to find myself still fatigued.

So far I can conclude that the system is a bit more complicated than I expected. Hopefully I'll be able to do more testing after my hard reset.

Well. What I think should happen is that the moment you hit fatigue on any class, an 8-hour rest period will completely restore you to normal SP gain. That seems logical. Maybe increase it to 12 hours.

I hate fatigue on DoH, unlike DoW and DoM you can't plow through the fatigue unless you feel like wasting materials.
I just switch to a different DoH class and go to town on that until I hit fatigue. What sucks is the amount of materials it takes at higher levels and the lack of a bigger inventory to store said materials for every DoH class at the same time. :\
