Request Idea: More FC Crest Design options

The current batch is decent, but more options for variety and creativity would be nice. I believe we haven't had a crest expansion since 2.1 was it? I for one would love more choices to become available.

Would love this as over 500 FCs easily exist and many crests are identical or extremely similar at this stage.

They never added any of the crests for the new classes/jobs, and that frustrates me because I wanted to use one of them.

I'm all for it! While we're at it can we just have all of the options when we first unlock crest creation, and get something better for rank seven too?

I'm all for expanded options. More options are never a bad thing in my opinion....

On that note, I'd also like to see the option of being able to upload an image to some portion of the SE site to use as our FC crests. Only the company leader would be able to upload such an image, and it would of course have to be verified in some way before being allowed as useable, (no profanity, nudity, ect). I'm sure it would also have to use restrictions of some sort on the actual image details, such as size, what percentage could be set as transparent, ect. It is a doable idea though, as many games have done it in the past. The first that comes to mind off the top of my head is Warframe, where it's not just a flat image, but holographically projected on the character. I'm not meaning adding the holographic portion of course, just a side note there. Also, while I state that the idea itself is doable, I don't know how well the game would be able to implement custom images for potentially hundreds or thousands of FCs on each server, even if they're small, low resolution ones.....

I'd like an option to display the grand company crests on armor (outside of an instance)

I know they're completely different games and all, but I always found it kind of funny that Diablo III has about 16 million different combinations for your personal banner, which hardly anyone will ever see anyway. Meanwhile FFXIV, a persistent MMO, has about 1% as many possibilities for an entire company of people, visible to everyone all the time.

I wish they would allow the fc crest symbol to show next to your name again. Loved that in 1.x. Having letters just seems lazy.
