    Here, in the meantime, have this sheet of raw data from the form in the OP: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
    I also forgot to add that I found all of the floors yesterday and put them into my sheet xD
    The floor is the absolute lowest appraisal you can get (80) and adding 1 perception to the perception that correlates to the floor value nets an 83 on methodical appraisal. (e.g. 594 perception = 80 methodical on 1-star; 595 = 83 methodical)
    I happened to calculate it out first to see if my hypothesis followed -- apparently it's exactly a 101 perception difference for every item, what this means is that you can get values for level 56 items, and then add the difference in perception between that item and the target item to find out how much perception you need for a particular rotation.

    Here are the effective perception ranges (values of perception that will actually have any effect on your appraisals) for the level 56, 58, 60, and lv60 1-star items:
    level 56: 438p (floor) -> 539p (ceiling)
    level 58: 462p (floor) -> 563p (ceiling)
    level 60: 484p (floor) -> 585p (ceiling)
    60 1-star: 594p (floor) -> 695p (ceiling)

    How you can use this information:
    Say for instance that you have a particular rotation you use for level 56 items. To get the exact same results on a level 60 1-star item, you would effectively need 156 more perception than you have now (assuming you aren't past the cap).
    Have a rotation for level 60 items, but want to use it on 1-star folklore? you would need 110 more perception. (if you have 538 perception and swing for 100 on methodical for lv60; add 110, and you get 648 perception needed to swing a 100 for methodical on a 1-star item)

    EDIT: oh yea, I also got these for you:

    I made a chart of expected methodical appraisal values based on item level and perception based off of my data that I collected for level 56 items, the ceiling and floor for each item level, and some various other data points that seemed to fit this scheme. The only thing that remains is to try and test them, and I should probably also work on level 59 items as well (morel/cuprite)

    Updated the stat sheet with your data, that's awesome, thanks!

    Based on your findings, I've also added the L56/58 items to my sheet. Do we have gathering stat requirements for them?

    No problem!
    As far as gathering requirements to 1-hit clear? no not yet, but will work on that!
    Also, according to your data, it seems morel/cuprite is only 3 perception lower than adamantite/chysahl; will test for 481 min and 582 max

    EDIT: I forgot to include for 83 MAs: DE + MA = 124; IA = 74; DE + IA = 112

    EDIT 2: I just noticed that I skipped a data point entirely! I just went and got the point, and updated my sheet. The 94 methodical range should be 1 perception lower (474, 498, 517, 520, 630 for 56, 58, 59, 60, 1-star respectively)
    Also, I an odd-thing on the Sea of Clouds 10 ET node: level 56 item (Heavens Lemon) was a one-hit clear with 418 gathering, but didn't 1-hit clear the Abalathian mistletoe (level 58) right below it! I guess I only find it odd because I've never noticed things not clearing since I've usually had more than enough gathering, or all of the items on the node were the same level in ARR.

    Just saw it on your sheet before I saw your post, so that's in there now too. And yeah, confirmed for L59 stuff being 3 lower consistently across the board. That's 3 behind L60 but 19 ahead of L58, which is a bit weird, but hey, whatever works for SE, you know?

    It used to be about a 40 point gap between 59 and 60 (they lowered this with 3.05? 3.07? somewhere around there). I think they lowered it to try and make them more accessible to people with blue scrip vendor gear, but the fact that it falls out of the pattern does make it odd

    UPDATE:
    Confirmed the floor for cuprite/morel appraisals as 481 perception (80 MA; 482 perception = 83 MA);

    Gathering requirement to 1-shot clear level 56 items is 417, for lv 58 items it's 424.
    Lowest possible gathering to 1-shot clear folklore node level 60 1-star items: 645.

    Ah, I had relied on information posted in another thread about 647-648 being the lowest. Bad person who misled me. xD Stat sheet updated.

    EDIT: Guide updated too. I think that's everything we need.

    Perhaps at the new gathering nodes that will be accessed via airship when 3.1 arrives in November?
