The way to fix PLD is this [all devs and mods please read this isent a dps request]

first of all plds are the mitigation tank as SE says so should do less dps than others.

But then we see darks superior dps and magic defense and pre much same styled CD's making it far superior to take end game Alexander Savage.

First give plds a slightly higher magic defense as darks have and yes this is a 100% reasonable request as SE have said them selves pld is king of mitigation the safer tank.

First make the block rate higher like it used to be.

Then powers to fix,

Shelton make it work on magic tank busters.

Sword oath remove the 50 pot auto attack replace with a counter styled attack that procs off block for full auto attack damage and procs of parry too for 50 potency kind of like current sword oath.

Make clemency dependent on oath if sword make it only 50% as good as now and cast time 1.5 secs. in shield oath make it same potency as currently is but make it uninterruptable and cast time 2 secs keep mp cost halved from what it is currently.

cover lower cd to 30 secs cause many people don't bother with cover but if your a focused tanker it would help a lot, anyway but its useful especially if you see someone with red lag simple by name and aoe is happening.

and lastly another issue adjust the passive threat gen of all pld attacks to allow it to be as effective tank as the dark and war.

As I mentioned this is keeping to SEs desired concept of defensive tank so please look into it.

And although My Main is/was PLD, I don't like to feel 'superior' to any other jobs. Every Job is doing their part, evenly.

They will eventually balance it out once the DEVs will come back from their migration, in 2017.
