When it fully comes to fruition, I guess some of us will have to learn to live with being the villain. >.>In a certain sense, this is already happening in 3.0 to a lesser degree. When I decide to DF EX roulette as DPS or heals, I'm always a little disappointed when I get PLD or I get tanks wearing all VIT (i180+ in all VIT). I know the run is going to go slower as a result. I keep it all to myself, but I'm still thinking it.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
