Yes, but I've tried to focus on other activities lately that I haven't had time to do these last few months, like chocobo racing and collecting triple triad cards. I also plan to finally get the sightseeing log done. Now is the perfect time to do these kind of things.

I've not even capped ESO for like 3 weeks? find it extremely boring to do a dungeon grind for ESO and doing expert everyday but ironicially i'm happily to work on strips <.< lol but one thing that really irked me is the favor system, but other than that, i'm just mainly gathering / crafting, i'm rarely on a DoW job now-a-days, completed A1-4 once and never went back in

In about 14 month of me playing the game each day for 5h on weekdays and 10+ on weekends I had never been able to even remotely catch up to the current patch. How people can complain that there is nothing to do here is completely beyond me!

Yes, someone having a different way of thinking to your own must be a really difficult thing to imagine.

I'm asking because I feel as though playing FF14 to max out my weekly ESO is more of a chore, then fun. I know that 3.1 is just around the corner, but it's difficult to being myself to run though another Neverreap or fractal, and I'm probably going to go on a hiatus. Does anyone else feel the same?

You aren't the only one. Numerous people have been talking about this. The game as it is now is nothing different from what we've seen in up to the end of ARR which is the most upsetting part. The same exact content type we've seen where the raid even is a copy past of how coil was in terms of fight mechanics(ie: alex1 and coil t1 with splitting the boss.) The only new content that's coming is in a patch which they delayed about 2months from the original time frame of patch releases. This brings up more questions than it should. Some might assume that they wanted to wait to release new content one a major content release in hopes that people would retain their subscription for a couple months. A reason for them to just take money from people that are willing to sit and wait for something new. Not to mention after people spent money on an expansion they thought would provide new content.

There really is something wrong if you spend 45+ hours in game per week for over a year and you haven't finished the ARR storyline before the release of HW. There are people with way less time to play that have gotten multiple types of content done.

The sad truth is that many of us are asking for a continuous flood of content and no-stop 24x365 entertainment, for some dollars a month. That's simply impossible.

People aren't asking for continuous flow of updates. What people really want is content that lasts and doesn't get pointless after the next patch rolls along. Within 2.1 and beyond it wasn't as big an issue as it is now. Especially with how quickly things were made pointless from launch to 3.1. People worked hard to get that ravana weapon and now it's garbage. It's a beautiful weapon, but useless with how easy it is to get the eso weapon. Alexander normal is such a joke that there really is no point to get the law gear for other jobs, cause it's such a raceroll and getting items to exchange is easy and fairly fast. Now that the top tier gear is either from alex savage or eso, they both have become a chore. For some alex savage is something hardcore to do, but as we've seen from coil, only a small percentage of the entire game population actually does it. Now all that's left if grinding roulette and capping eso for af2, which is incredibly dull with only two dungeons for expert.

lol burnt out, not, i've been here 5 years now and never felt burnt out. i never farm eso, or any other previous tomestones for that matter like 5 weeks now i haven't capped it at all, that is boring for me to go every day in dr and farm tomestones, i never ever did that if i don't feel like it, there are lots of other things u can do in this game, i am leveling crafting, leveling my chocobo, doing choco races, collecting card, doing side quests for the lore, hell i haven't even finished coils let alone alex normal and savage. i just don't get people who log in do the dr and log out i would be sick of this game ages ago.

Yes on dungeons spamming, it happens when you see the same fight over and over and over, I just take a break from dungeons for a bit and do some PVP.

I wish they would add something to kill time when you are bored.

My cousin said FFXI done the same to him, though they had NM's to keep him occupied he said those were fun until they made them rare/ex

Then he just sat around on FFXI waiting for new content, he said the RMT just ruined everything on FFXI that was fun to do because everything was taken from legit players just to stop them.

He said too bad there isn't NM's in this game with rare drops with low % drop rates cause it would give him something other than just sit in town after he's done doing daily's.

I know I am, for the most part my days have just been log in to do a daily for ESOs, MAYBE leveling dungeon with one of my DPS classes that are not leveled, ask if any FC members need help (usually a no) and log off to play with my PC-Android app or Metal Gear 5. Just overall I feel like I've done all I want and I do not have the tolerance to run and learn an extreme raid for hours and hours on end just to clear it. I tried with the first Coil, spent almost 5 hours the first day and just thinking this is how its going to be for days with little improvement or progress? No thanks.
