The inventory issues are really getting out of hand for most players. Anything to do with collectibles requires large chunks of inventory space to be available all the time (and if you have quite a lot you're practically rewarded with being able to gather red scrip items way ahead of time or hold lots of collectibles for when they're 'starred' or at least requested). It's been the case for a long time that if you have several, let alone all classes leveled then many sections of your armoury chest have 1-3 spaces left without carrying multiple same-slot items for the same class (eg. PvP gear).

There have been a number of times I missed a DF que because I forgot I got new pants or something from a quest, thus filling that section of the armoury and removing the ability to change classes.

I feel like more retainers does help, but it's a band-aid. They were smart with shards/ crystals/ clusters and most currencies at least, but I think they need to take the same approach to a lot more items and perhaps investigate a few other changes that have been brought up in similar threads if they ever want inventory complaints to lessen.
