Actually, your minimum should be 0 red scrips, and 0 blue scrips, because you have a small chance to miss every single hit with only 600 gp (you would have to be very unlucky to miss everything, but getting very unlucky seems to be very easy with the RNG in this game).

I might also suggest changing your rotation for just the blue scrip items to guarantee 1044 blue scrips every hour (of course you could miss again, but you are guaranteed 3 attempts to gather if you're appraisal capped: discerning eye > methodical > discerning eye > methodical > single mind> methodical, will net you 456 collectability which is enough for tier 1)

Quickly change to Miner and pop a Cordial and Truth of Mountains. Warp to Azys Lla.
1030AM: Barely make it to Adamantite ore node thanks to loading times. Wait. Watch a few people get murdered by mobs.
11AM: Gather 15 ores because I use them for profit not red scrips.
Sleep for a half hour. Repeat.

I'm a really lazy miner. I'll probably add "Stop by Sea of Clouds as miner to get Sun Mica" now though.

What exactly are you looking to do? Scrips? Red scrips only? It honestly depends. I used to run around for blue scrips but I almost hate them more than red scrips. Also: I think if you are ONLY doing miner it's much easier than running around and doing miner/botanist.
No part where you farm ephemeral nodes in Forelands or Hinterlands between Chysahl greens and Adamantite Ores? Use http://www.garlandtools.org/ and select the type of stuff you want to go for. It's a no-brainer with that site.

    Hmm okay...
Here's the site I use, by the way.
Oh and uh.. what is your gathering/perception. You need at least 565 Perception to get the Red scrip nodes (I got that easily with Blue scrip gear/my overmelded accs from level 50) and ideally you'll need 600 GP.

12AM: Red Quartz (slot 6) in Sea of Clouds - gives more than the Abalathian Rock Salt (slot 1), but choose whichever one Rowena is accepting at the time.
2AM: Cuprite (slot 2) in Hinterlands - I would use a Cordial here while running to this node - it's sort of far from any warp point, and because my loading takes forever I have trouble getting to it in a timely manner. If you have good loading times I wouldn't worry about it; you'll be fine. There is also Light Kidney Ore (slot 3) but since Cuprite is always accepted by Rowena I wouldn't bother with it.
5AM: Sun Mica (slot 2) in Sea of Clouds - I haven't added this to any rotation yet, but because it's three hours between the last node and this one, there will be no problem getting to it. You won't need a cordial either (unless you hit the Cuprite very late) so I wouldn't worry about that either. This is from the Abalathian Folklore. (Note...this is the only folklore I've done, but it looks like most of them pop at this same time so... just replace "Sun Mica" with whatever you get.
7AM: personally haven't done these, but if you do you would probably need a Cordial/crunch time to get to it.
11AM: Adamantite Ore (slot 6) in Azys Lla - Definitely no cordial needed. I'd suggest camping this node so you can finish quickly and pop a cordial ASAP (if you want to repeat and get to the Red Quartz node in time). This is True Crunch Time however....the Red Quartz node is RIGHT NEXT TO the Ok'Zundu aetheryte so that is very, very lucky. Depending on how fast you get the Adamantite you may or may not have enough GP to get this, since you have an in-game three minutes between 11 and 12.

So total that's about three cordial and a very, very busy day. Hope that helps a little.
Obviously if you can't do red scrips yet just skip those nodes for now.

Well for miner blue strips, you need 3x 99 gathering tokens if you wish to unlock the legendary mode

So check what item is collectibles and work your timer around that, I.e 8, 10, 12

Red strips would be 11am/pm since you're only doing miner

As for aetherial reduction, the nodes are every 4 hours game time with a 4 hour break

Starts at 4am - 8am forelands, 8am to 12pm hinterland, 12pm to 4pm churning mist, 4pm to 8pm sea of cloud and lastly 8pm to 12am is coethas, 12am - 4am is your break if you were just doing aetherial reduction.

Rotations - there's quite a few out there and it all depends on what people prefer

    Mine is

    (Strips rotation) 2-3 items

Utmost caution, single mind, implusive app, (proc'ed?) if yes utmost caution, single mind meth app, impulsive app, meth app, this nets me 3 items collect @470+

If none of the impulsive proc'ed then need to change a single mind to discerning eye on the 2nd single mind

When I'm porting to get one of the Unspoiled Nodes over in Dravanian Hinterlands, I port to Anyx Trine and fly over. Its a lil bit closer than Tailfeather, or Falcon's Nest, to a Hinterlands zone line, and the zone line is fairly close to the mining node (though so too is the zone line from Coerthas Western Highlands).

I could mine the Adamantite Ore (which I gathered for use, not for collectible hand in), poof to Anyx Trine, pop a Cordial, change to Botanist, fly over to the Morel node, and get there at about the time it popped, with almost enough GP for gathering those collectibles.

To add to that at 1am you can grab dark steel and silkworm cocoons. You can pop a cordial if you like with Kings yeild 2. You can also switch out the mistletoe for gold ore after grabbing the greens at 9am.

People have been giving a lot of extra info, but it's more or less correct. Personally, I found it difficult to dedicate enough time to gathering to cap red scrips with just MIN (I leveled MIN first and quickly got BOT up soon after). With a fresh 60, assuming you quickly got all of your trailblazer gear (blue scrips and rather cheap), have pretty good accessories (as in very good from 2.0 or pretty good new stuff), and bought the HQ level 60 main hand crafted tool and HQ level 58 offhand crafted tool (with or without melds) then I would follow this pattern on MIN:

    11 AM/PM: adamatite ore
    12 AM/PM: red quartz
    2 AM/PM: cuprite

If you are AT the adamatite node when the clock strikes 11 and have 600 or more GP then you will need 1 cordial between adamantite and red quartz.

That's really about all you can do at this point. Personally I tend to use discerning eye > impulsive > discerning eye > impulsive > discerning eye > methodical for pretty much anything -- replacing the second and/or third discerning eye with single mind if impulsive proc'd. This nets 2-4 collects (really 0-4 since that rotation doesn't include anything to raise the gathering chance which is as low as 95% on adamantite with sufficient stats). That is not the best rotation to use all the time though!

On 450 collects discerning eye > methodical > discerning eye > methodical > single mind> methodical [as TechnoTechie pointed out] will be better overall since (neglecting the chance to miss) this garauntees 3 items instead of 2-4 (4 being very rare from experience and 3 being a happy surprise), but only if your perception is high enough! There are, of course, some other rotations you can look into -- personally I just got comfortable using the same one on everything.

I'd like to point out that collecting red scrips becomes twice as fast by adding botanist to the mix (chysal greens at 9 AM/PM). It fits neatly into the routine, requires almost nothing more than you've already done for MIN (trailblazer and crafted gear is sufficient for that node at least), and broadens your gathering opportunities (I am assuming you have botanist at 50 -- if it's 1 or something this might be a hefty investment).

Another 'trick' to getting ahead with red scrips is retainer space. I found myself woefully depleted of inventory space (like everyone else) and finally broke down and paid for 2 extra retainers. One of them does little more than hold all my chysal greens, adamantite, and cuprite (sometimes morel). Being able to collect scrip items and hold them for a time allows you to pre-cap for the week (I've already got enough items to cap for the coming week) and to hold blue scrip items until they are starred if you're not in a hurry to spend them. Also, later on you can decide to collect a specific folklore tome item (for example the first one you unlock) and hold on to them until Rowena is requesting them (she always requests cuprite, morel, adamatite, and chysal. Everything else changes day to day).

Folklore items require much higher stats than the items previously listed (also mining folklore items for red scrips are all 5 AM, botanist are all 5 PM). I'm not actually sure if I can properly collect them yet or not, but with the best level 50 accessories (max melds), Minekeep's shoes, pants, gloves, and shirt; trailblazer scarf, and adamantite pick and sledgehammer I still don't have high enough perception to get over 0% HQ rate on them and I just got to the point where I can uncover the item in a single swing. I forget the exact stats, but I think you need more than 600 gathering/ 650 perception to have higher than a 0% chance to gather/ HQ. Basically folklore items will not help you to gather red scrips faster unless you have max melded level 60 gathering gear or for a few weeks after collecting red scrip gear. I'd say they're good for gil, but that's mostly just true for HQ items at this point and I've already mentioned the rather high stat threshold for that. Darksteel and gold are probably better (or at least easier) money makers at this point.

Nobody really touched on favors and I can't say much on it either, except that it doesn't need to fit into your node rotation exactly. You buy them and use them when you want to. They last 5 minutes during which time you deplete the regular level 60 nodes in the area and like ephemeral nodes favor nodes might spawn upon clearing the normal ones. I haven't done any of these at all because for me making money is somewhat secondary on gathering (amusingly I gather for the sake of it) and you can only buy favors with red scrips -- the very same weekly capped currency that you use to buy Minekeep's equipment. If you are also a well to do omnicrafter then perhaps you will forgo most of the Minekeeper's equipment in favor of max melded (not that that's exactly possible) i150 gathering gear, but you'll still want 3 weeks worth of red scrips to get the Minekeep's pickaxe.

Another good blue scrip item (spawns at the 10 pm node) is abalathian mistletoe (and rowena always wants it); good for if you still need to unlock a folklore tome and have finished gathering adamantite/chysahl for this week/next week, or if you have the cordials to spare.

I would say the target stats for collecting them for red scrips is at least 690 gathering to 1-hit clear, or 720 gathering to remove miss chance after using Field Mastery II/Sharp Vision II; (requires 650 gp -- you'll get at least a -50 GP reduction buff doing appraisals if you do at least 4 swings) and around 690-700 perception (to cap appraisals)

Not quite what was being specified in the OP, but here's something for anyone interested... it's what I use since I unlocked all Folklore tomes and only need blue scrips for the odd lure/leech/cordial. Fun thing about this run? Zero usage of cordial. You rely completely on efficient movement and use of your time. Do not dilly dally or you'll miss a node and/or slow down your GP regeneration. Enjoy?

EDIT: Perhaps worth noting this is a run I do as a gatherer-crafter. That means I take what mats I can get, even if it's just a few. Teleporting to only get 5x Dravanian Mistletoe might seem silly to some, but for a crafter like me, that's invaluable use of my time between other nodes. This is not the gathering system to use if you like to go away from your PC between nodes. It's non-stop moving and gathering. The only real stop point is when I do BTN folklore, which for me means watching the sunset in the Mists where Seventh Heaven spawns. 10/10 would watch sunset another hundred times.

EDITRA: Still, for all the tele costs there, if you're gathering to sell then this rotation of nodes will easily pay for itself.

EDITGA: Shhh, don't pay attention to the typo on Cuprite. >_>
