This does work if i use the filter. It seems to be case-sensitive, but also has auto-complete, so it doesn't make it a big deal.

Nevermind got better solution, google docs - spreadsheet has gagdet > table feature which does all the database stuff and much better results... imo. Check out the spreadsheet now should show up in gadget preview first https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...l2OGc&hl=en_US

I know some JP sites that's taking data from users input but not really good for navigating around/looking up gear = materia info.

Dunno if I should add the option where anyone can edit since it could be harmful if someone puts wrong data but was testing this one.

Now if there was feature on spreadsheet where it automatically generates google table would be best... have to play around...

Edit: meh it doesn't auto update database table from spreadsheet data with time schedule... >< no such feature yet on google table.

Edit2: With the new feature I found out for spreadsheet now you can filter by item name or any category... hopefully that works? maybe should of added Materia Name + Materia type (I-IV) together so you can search easier...

Awesome spreadsheet reinheart! I noticed one big error though. You only list one catalyst for many materia types (if not all, I haven't checked), when in fact for all of the materia I've seen, tiers I and II each have different catalysts, and III and IV share the same one. You only have one catalyst listed for each materia.

I noticed this while browsing through Lifethirst materia, for example:

• Tier I: Germinated Matter
• Tier II: Decayed Matter
• Tier III: Decomposed Matter
• Tier IV: Decomposed Matter

But you only have Germinated Matter listed.
