What was the first thing you did in-game?

Started in 2.0 and the first thing I did was block a gold seller whisper. They were really really bad in capital cities at that time. You couldn't read chat cause you were getting spammed constantly.

Kind of like it is now? Crafting progress by default shows up in your chat and they spam accordingly. Chat is a spam wall, every 15 seconds or so.

Ham...if I remember it was August 3 day early access the first thing I did in game was I log in Justine Bieber, and shouted baby baby baby oooooohhh thought you always be mine.

Started During closed beta for 2.0. I actually missed a beta phase as I didn't have a PC at the time due to a system failure. Back then ACN wasn't available yet (They originally didn't plan to include it until launch or Early Access, but changed it to be available in the final beta, which I took to start that character, that I'm still playing today) so I started as a THM in Ul'dah. I started by doing quests in the area.

I started playing in July 2014. It was 2.3 I guess, Ramuh banners everywhere. The first thing I did after the cutscen ended - spent 2 hours changing game settings, HUD and keybind layouts. XD

First thing I did was spam the heck out of the character emotes on my kitty boy while I waited for my friend (who I know offline) to come find me in Gridania. By the time she arrived, I had discovered the ear wiggling /joy emote and couldn't help but spam it at her because of how cute it was. Then a few minutes later, as we were standing at the main aetheryte crystal in New Gridania, all of the members of her FC that were online at the time showed up to meet and welcome me to the game. After that, they proceeded to dragged me from Gridania through various maps to sync with aetherytes and so I can get to know the land better XD That was well over a year ago and I'm still with the same group of friends in the same FC

I did two things: learn how to adjust my UI and mess with settings and controls (learning them as best I could running around Gridania)... and take a screenshot.

I started playing after Heavensward came out, on July 1st 2015, hense why my first and only character is an Au Ra and has been from day 1. One of the reasons I didn't play the game earlier was that I didn't care for the races you could play as at all. I have since grown a fondness for Miquo'te as well as Au Ra though.
