I started during 2.0's Closed Beta Phase 3. I wanted to be a dragoon (did not know we couldn't be the jobs until like the last weekend of beta lol) so I did research beforehand and decided to start on Pugilist since I would need that for it. I ran around Ul'dah being awed by how cool everything looked and just MMO's in general since I had never played one before.
