What was the first thing you did in-game?

I started during 2.0's Closed Beta Phase 3. I wanted to be a dragoon (did not know we couldn't be the jobs until like the last weekend of beta lol) so I did research beforehand and decided to start on Pugilist since I would need that for it. I ran around Ul'dah being awed by how cool everything looked and just MMO's in general since I had never played one before. I sadly do not have any screenshots from 2.0s Beta, but here's the earliest screenshot I could find from ARR's launch weekend:

Well, I first started back in 1.0, plus with ARR I started way back in the Alpha test, but for the purposes of this thread, my true starting point in ARR was Phase 4 of the Beta test, which, due being in the Alpha and Beta from the beginning of Phase 1, I at least knew the basics of what to do and where to go at the start, so as soon as I arrived in Gridania's main gate, I immediately switched my class to GLA and upgraded my gear to something better than the starting armour (as I had my 1.0 character transferred into ARR and thus I started with all my 1.0 levels, exp and gear). Then changed some settings in Config such as camera type, controls and setting up the GUI to something I like.

Then immediately unlocked several achievements (quest related ones) which retroactively carried across from 1.0.

I started when ARR came out, and the first thing I did was spend 20mins playing with the emotes And jumping.

1.0 , started on gridania .....the 1 thing i did was trying to SWIM ....................hahahahaha (after the intro with the tree )

2.0 , started on limsa (reroll on new server) , 1 thing i did was summoning carby <3

First thing I did was try out all the emotes.

I started at the beginning of Patch 2.2 in February 2014. The first thing I did in game was react to how creepy the Wood Wailer masks in Gridania were because their eyes are blacked out. But since then, I have come to appreciate the fact that given how much of Gridanian life is focused on the spirits, it made me realize that it is supposed to give them that kind of appearance.

Started in closed beta for 1.0. First thing I did was make a mnk since that was my main in FFXI. Played for a bit then switched to MRD. Unfortunately circumstances and the gameplay, I stopped playing about 1 month before the first three months.
