I... I think their vacation is already over.
I... I think their vacation is already over.
I know you mean well, but its sorta weird to wish someone a happy vacation when they're just getting back from vacation.
For the longest time I thought you were being sarcastic in your post. Perhaps suggesting that the barren empty wasteland you are looking over is what Yoshi-P will come back to after his vacation.
And it's a legacy server..
Anyway, I won't disagree that they deserve a vacation. One thing I can say as a paying customer is, this new island exploration is what we deserved in the beginning of 3.0. I can appreciate the effort of them working on it, but it's honestly too little too late. They want to introduce this into a live letter with very little time covering it then later say, "btw, were going on vacation, so this actual new content will be delayed!" Before anyone says anything about a delay being nothing, consider the fact that I've been around since launch of 1.0 so I've seen everything this game has brought to the table. We've had the same content being recycled since 2.2.

Vacation time is over. You should be saying "Have fun working!"

I know the vacation time is over, but still :P
But to all the people who's complaining they took a vacation and delayed a Patch, needs to chill out. I know it is their jobs to work on the game, but like EVERY working person, they deserve a vacation. I get 6 weeks of time off of work every year, and thinking about Yoshidas team pretty much has been working without any breaks for 3 years giving up all this and rebuilding the entire game for us.
They have been humble towards us, its only common sense to be a little humble towards them as well. As I love it when I have people who has come to me at my workplace and telling me thanks for a good job. Really makes me feel great knowing they are satisfied with what I do![]()
