Using Disciples of Land abilities on Chocobo?

would be a bit too easy to find nodes if you are perminantly at an increased speed. chocobos make the quickening skills pointless

But you ARE always at increased speed. You just use the ability right after you finish a node, hop on chocobo and go that direction for that many yards--I mean yalms. It's just annoying if you forget to use the ability to get back off your chocobo, use it, and get back on. I don't see any problem letting us do it while mounted.
