    Gardening questions

    Does letting the plants go purple affect their grow time?
    If not, are the grow times on www.ffxivgardening.com still correct? I planted Mandragora Queens last Sunday night and they hit purple once for a couple of hours, but they still aren't done today.
    Also does fertilizer still reduce grow times by an hour?

    Thanks in advance for any answers!

    Answers: Does letting the plants go purple affect their grow time? NO, but plant will die if you don't water them.
    Also does fertilizer still reduce grow times by an hour? YES, but I've notest that there is minimum grow time that the plant has to stay on the ground. No amount of fertilizer will bring it less than 2 days.
    www.ffxivgardening.com is accurate in most parts. The yeald of crops could be shown better, but all the crossbreeds I've tried work as they say.

    Each Fertilization will reduce grow time by 1 hour. If you were insanely diligent with it, you can reduce growth time by 1/2.

    With FCs, you have people take shifts to help manage it. Considering a static group is 8, with some extra support and substitutes making about 10 active members in a FC or roughly 2 to 3 hours of game-time each (doing the usual daily roulette and stuff in between fertilizing sessions).

    I have a gardening question too
    When plants are ripe, do they still count for crosses?
    I mean, when I have a certain plant in every second slot, and they could get harvested. But because they are expensive, I'd like to wait until the other type of plant is done in about half a day and plant new ones, that also get mutations from the ripe ones.
    Is that possible or do the ripe ones no longer influence others now that they can be harvested?

    They do. I am sure your idea works practically as I did this many times. ^^;

    Crossbreeding is determined when you plant the seeds, by what plants are already growing next to it.
