So far, I have been on duty finder for this dungeon for at least 3 days now with no luck in getting in. Anyone have any tips into getting into dungeons faster or just suck it up?

Play a tank, mostly instant.
Play a healer, moderate waiting time.
Play a dps, well... suck it up I guess...
Depends...which dungeon are you doing?
Some people suggest checking all language choices (and since you are on Ifrit, that's a JP server with little English speakers, so I would recommend it this time). USually I don't recommend it since...if you don't speak that language why use that choice? But anyway.
And yes as DPS you will have a longer queue.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
I think you're on a Japan server. Select J only in your language options that'll get you in quickly.
Just quoting myself from another thread...
Basically, duty finder is cross server within a data centre. You chose a data centre with minimal english speaking players and most likely queued using english only and hence you are never going enter a dungeon, unless you choose all four languages (especially Japanese) or switch to another data centre. You chose Ifrit, which is a server on the Japanese data centre. Not only that, you chose a data centre which does not have either of the two English player populated servers, Elemental-Tonberry and Mana-Masumune.
That's why you aren't going to find anyone speaking in English. Your duty finder queue will also be very slow since I assume you only ticked English for Duty Finder and there are barely any English players on Gaia data centre so your queue would be extremely slow. You can choose all four languages for duty finder if you want a faster queue.
Anyway, if you want to play in a Japanese data centre, then you would be better off transferring to Tonberry. If you want to be in an NA or EU data centre, then transfer to one. The data centre screen on the main screen of the game shows which data centre belongs to which region clearly. You can choose NA, EU or JP.
Anyway, I have to ask. Are you aware that you are on a Japanese data centre?

I play in this datacentre and can confirm that there are pretty much zero English speakers around most of the time, and those who don't also speak at least a little Japanese tend to struggle. I think I have met three other English speakers ever in DF, excluding those in my own FC. If you don't speak Japanese you would probably have more luck using Party Finder as some curious/tipsy Japanese players will probably help you out if they know what they're getting into in advance.
A tip if you do speak Japanese and want to persist. There are two places to pick your language - the search screen with your own player info and your duty finder window. You need to set the latter to include Japanese if you want to queue with Japanese speakers. French and German will make no difference as I've never seen anyone flagged with either in DF here.
As I play on an american server I have never ever had an issue getting a dungeon finder to pop. Even the crystal tower raid that noone ever does anymore pops after about 30 to 45 minutes. And that is like 3 times longer than I have to wait for anything required by the main story.
As someone playing from Tonberry yeah, your best bet is to tick all 4 languages (especially Japanese) I remembered reinstalling the game so all my presets got lost and I was wondering why it was taking me forever to queue, turns out the only thing ticked was English.
Pretty much what everyone has already stated. Check all languages.
When I first moved to Tonberry I remember waiting about2 hours, gave up and started a PF. Some kind soul messaged me to let me know to check all languages. Since then I never wait more than about 20 minutes as a DPS.
