Well, it will say after reading only a few pages of this thread...good community cross section with regards to the time and content.
I am a casual gamer, and a sub-par casual raider. I am a RW solo breadwinner, so the weekends is when I get my gameplay on in a serious sense of the term.
I personally like that it will be November mainly due to the fact that after getting the MSL taken care of, I jumped ship from dungeons/tome mining for gear to work on my FC airship, which is still not done since I didn't give crafting enough attention during the 2.x line and yes, really paying for it now with the Airship. Also, it is taking a long grind for me since my FC which had 22 active members starting 2.0 content lost most of them to the dps reflections of players during raid chat more than other games coming out. Due to this, I am the only active player left in my FC, but we do have a total of 4 players who are online during a sub month.
With that said, I can understand where those who are hardcore, or even have the time to play long periods of time everyday would be burned out on the current content. To you who fit this mold, I congratulate you on having everything to lvl 60, all the gears, and Alex Normal and Salvage cleared, and I would guess even have the FC workshop cleared of prototypes and creations. I will say I envy you and wish I had the time you do have to dedicate to what is a great game.
I would however, also ask that you do remember that we were told before launch what we would see for the 3.x roll out. No, we weren't told it would take 5 months, but we knew that there would be a slower than normal roll out of content for the 3.x series starting out. Please keep that in mind when you comment on the SE Dev Team taking a vacation and the 5 months.
So, since it isn't coming till November, I will probably save the airship for after 3.1 content and go grind for the tomes needed for the gear to move forward.
See ya'll in 3.1.
