I like how you zoned in on one word and completely missed the point by doing so. You made the comment about how the game has enough content to keep people satisfied. I'm saying people have goals they want to fulfill and when completed they stop playing until new goals appear. Furthermore I'm saying most people won't play content they have no interesting in just to keep playing FFXIV, that's an unhealthy addiction. It had nothing to do with playtime or taking breaks.

Second point: It was made pretty clear these guys NEEDED that much time to depressurize. From all I've read doing the expansion AND 2.x AND making these new jobs destroyed their stamina, but they were intent on the first expansion being a burly one. Never underestimate how much work is required to make one of these monsters..

I"m sure it take tons of hours to do this work but at the same time if they have to work their employees into the ground then they have a personal storage and should be looking at hiring more people to help back fill and ease the unnecessary overtime their small team is having to put in. There should never be a reason an employee can't take a week off work. But again we are the customer, not the company.
