I have no idea what you're talking about, but there was certainly no written translation there, only a bunch of random comments in the comment stream.
Re: Lord of Verminion - in before extremely limited edition minions tied to physical merchandise and/or are no longer available (eg Wind-Up Dalamud/Bahamut, Cait Sith Doll, Primogs, Wind-Up Enterprise etc.) are completely OP and gamebreaking, giving all the advantage to the richest players.

http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...d/page2http://It might be wise to go ahead and collect all the minions you can. However, it’s not like you won’t be able to win if you don’t possess rare minions, so don't worry. Also, we'll have a rating system for matching, so you'll be matched depending on your win rates.
Just from what Bayohne said here, I'm guessing "bought" minions from merch. or the Mogstation will not give you any extreme kind of advantage, but it seems each minion will have their own unique type of stats and such.

I'm hoping that you're right, but guesses have been wrong before (Housing says "Hi!"). Also, the line "it's not like you won't be able to win" may just mean "you have a *chance* of winning, but be prepared to have your ass handed to you on a silver platter on a regular basis if your lineup isn't juuuuuust right". Forgive me for being pessimistic, but I've seen so many things I've looked forward to take a sideways slide at the last second that I cannot help but be skeptical. "Fool me once..."
Lol at the people whining that its a late patch. Working people need a vacation. Not to mention that Fallout 4 will be out around that time so many will forget and just play that, lol.

Yeah, I certainly don't fault 'em for delaying it like they did. No one should be working 80 hour weeks.
(Although part of me wonders if they shouldn't have just toned down their ambitions a little. You probably could've cut one of the zones/merged a few of them together without a great loss of story coherency.)
