Glamours are unavailable due to Equipment restrictions

Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get this to work? I am trying to glamour my Velveteen Sarourel of Gathering into a Foestrikers skirt but it gives me this error AFTER using my glamour prism. I have even unequipped all my gear except for the glamoured skirt and it still doesn't work. Anyone know why I have this error?

Glamouring items has restrictions here sadly. It looks like you're trying to glamour a DoW item onto a DoL class but this game doesn't allow you to glamour things the class is unable to wear. So no healers glamouring tank armour onto their things, etc.

By the looks of it on your screenshot you have a Velveteen Sarourel of Gathering which you then made ook like a Foestriker Skirt. In that case you will need to be a class that allows it to be equipped for it to be shown (so basically your gatherers can't be seen in that gear).

Its because the foestrikers skirt is desciple of war, an your gathering gear is not. you can glamour those pants with anyting thats designated for all jobs, but not always vice versa. Id love to glamour my healer to look like a tank, but cant

From what I can tell, you're currently a fisher (DoL) where as the foestriker's skirt is limited to DoW classes

In other words, things that are for DoW/DoM, etc are limited to those class/job types. Unless it says "all class" in the gear

Yeah, basically they don't want mages running around in full platemail, or wearing job-specific armor that defines a job on other jobs.
