Flames of Vengeance?

Is the Flames of Vengeance special event a one-way tie-in, or is there a FFXIV end to it as well, something from Record Keeper that will show up in our game?

I don't have much time for RK but I did try the event, I stopped after I unlocked Thancred and Yshtola, didn't bother going for the memory crystals. I giggled because in the Sastasha Dungeon were Amaljaa enemies...do they even have the technology to cross the sea to Limsa? XD

Everywhere it says "Crossover", even on Lodestone it was in NEWS...

btw, is there any trick to defeat Gygas ? my lv 50 party (Tidus/Cloud/vanille/Y'shtola/Rydia) gets wrecked and I barely manage to to 50% of his HP

difficulty 80 is overtuned for people who aren't fully decked on 5* and lv65 characters D:

I can recommend the site, always having great informations but its from the Japan game version and sometimes with skill suggestions a bit ahead of global game version. Because its from the Japan game you can get a sneak preview of what is coming next, extremely useful if you like to plan ahead events!

Generally I suggest to get the breakdown skills 4*, shellga 4*, protectga 4*... those you will need in most fights, if used both you nearly dont get any damage at all...
For long combats you will need honed abilities. If you dont have good physical weapons try it with mages.
You should spend all Mythril into rare relict draws, that way you will get stronger pretty soon!

For Gygas:
Try to get Sephirot Limit from a roaming warrior to blind his adds, if not you can sleep them and ignore them then...
For the Boss: Poison + Power Breakdown + Protectga and you should not have any problems...

hello. i see there is already a thread about this event open for discussion, and have a few questions of my own.

1.) is this for mobile platforms only? i can't play it on PC or PS?
2.) does this require a purchase?
