    I can assure you that for all the 2.x it was so, I'm not so sure about 3.0, I don't remember if I tried to remove it as SCH, but when in the slaughter mode the BLM at beginning tried to put Thunders on the close people I wasn't able to remove it even if it was the only status on me or my party member.

    I'll recheck it too

    Ohhhh yeah, you're right, I completely forgot about that. haha

    Just got out of a game of Seize though and was able to dispel a thunder from myself as AST, so woo! I'm not crazy.

    Checked it too, my falult, now I'm curios to see if it is dispellable even in the lv 50 PvP content :P

    Split Shot>Slug Shot>Reassemble>Clean Shot>Foot Graze(Bind)>Between The Eyes>Ricochet>Gauss Round>Head Graze>Heartbreak

    140>180>Crit 200=300>180*3=540>400>180>100>180

    2020 base potency, 2626 potency with Gauss Barrel bonus. Subjected to distance modifiers, so melee range would be ~1050 potency.

    Execution time ~8 seconds, only 2 bullets required for everything to be instant if not using Reload+Rapid Fire, burst recast 1min. This will bring a SMN/BLM (without Manawall) from 100% to 0% in sweetspot range with one or two abilities to spare.

    If you're not buffed and none of your hits crit, this sequence will not 100%-0% BRD/MCH/DRG/MNK who use Recouperate.

    For this burst to work against healers, silence right after Between The Eyes. Very effective against WHMs, not so good against SCH/AST.

    You also throw in gauss off for the first split to negate the cast time, although lower potency, then equip for the rest of the burst.

    I'm curious as to why you think the silence is better vs white mage than astro, astro gets a single silence proof skill (for up to 1000 potency), whereas white mage gets 2 (for 1000 potency) plus benediction

    (also you could argue that white mages prism negates 40% of non caster burst, but thats assuming they already have it down)

    Nah I just meant that silencing after Between The Eyes (BTE) is better against healers in general. After a critted Clean Shot the healer will typically be sitting at about 70% health. For an AST/SCH this isn't so much of a problem because one simple Lustrate/Asp Benefic before BTE hits will counter this. 70% health is a little too high to be using Tetra/Benediction.

    The BTE brings that 70% health to about 20% health in a single shot (with buffs). BTE has very little visual/audio cues to alert the victim and this is even more effective in heated battles where the healer has to tend to his teammates. I'm sure a skilled veteran healer such as yourself will not fall for this but the majority of WHMs I've encountered don't seem to be aware of what a MCH can do to them, and so fall prey to such burst without resistance.

    From the healer's perspective, his health will drop approximately like this with every hit: 100%->95%->90%->70%->20% (silenced)->10%->0%. I've managed to capture footage of a WHM using Benediction but by the time it went off he was already gone. If he had been a split second faster or if I'm at max range then all damage would be negated quickly.

    If the target is a tank, has Stoneskin, regen or almost any sort damage mitigation then this sequence will not result in a kill, so plink away until you dent his health then go for it. If you have Battle High or Battle Fever, it's a different story.

    Needless to say, after this sequence my MCH hits as hard as a hamster for a long while :>
