Tank Appreciation Thread

I guess I'm just the bitter one here who jumps into DF with a fast queue, doesn't say a word unless necessary (because... DF...), rolls through the dungeon in 15 minutes or less and leaves as soon as the loot is rolled?

In reality though, I love PLD. I've been doing the pally deal since pen and paper D&D. But if your tank doesn't say anything at the start of a dungeon there's probably a million awful groups behind the reasoning. I'm not there to impress the dps or the healer. I'm there to pull mobs, hold on to them, and assist in killing them as rapidly as possible. I thank you, but I don't specifically need a commendation to be your meat shield; I'll do that anyway.
