Quick Desynthesis and 2.0 -> 3.0 Desynth wall

Speaking from experience, I desynthed all the non-crafting material fish I caught from around 20-50 Fisher because even though I know Culinarian Desynthesis is only useful for swimwear outside of Rich Tomato Relish for Mastercrafts, the shards/crystals I got from it were more desirable than selling them off as vendor trash.

Even though I was getting shards and Allagan metal pieces from it though, it is still such a chore to desynth a lot of items because of the back and forth nature of it. Yet, crafters have the option to skim through basic materials with the slight chance of a failure if they can comfortably HQ the end recipe, so why can't it be the same in the case of Desynthesis?

After all, if I have 100% chance to desynth an item, and I have a large stack of trash to get rid of and the end reward is better than selling to a vendor, why can't I simply set up a queue and let the computer process it for me?

Further adding onto this, I personally don't see why the wall from 2.0 to 3.0 in the case of caught fish is so high. I've been told I need higher than 80 desynthesis to even desynth a level 51 catch, meaning I'd have to desynth many 2-star 2.0 fish just to get rid of the beginner fish of Heavensward. Surely this should be lowered, as there's no guarantee that I'll catch a 2-star fish with every mooch, in comparison to the ease of waiting for an unspoiled node and spending GC seals to gather the materials for a 2.0 1-star and up craft.
