Do you want to use food or not?

With HQ Bouillabaisse if possible, since it's so quick and cheap to make. I'll look at your rotations/macros with any food though, since I have the resources to make any of them now. I'll actually post the macros I just came up with on my own effort. These macros were all based on using HQ Bouillabaisse food. I'm sure I could've made a much better rotation/macro using HQ Seafood Stew, but I went with the quicker/cheaper food (HQ Bouillabaisse), since you can stock up plenty of them easily for mass producing endgame crafts with these macros. But the difference in spending the time and money to crank out HQ Seafood Stew could likely be made up by just using an extra HQ mat or two. I'm sure there are far better macros out there, especially coming from you Katlyna, but these are what I came up with and maybe they will help someone:
Note: I am not sure what the exact required BARE minimum stats are to do any of the following macros (unless otherwise noted), but if you meet or exceed the following listed stats (which are my base stats, pre-food), you will complete these syntheses. If you're sitting at or around two-star stats with or without food AND can achieve around 447 CP with food, you're fine. To achieve such base stats for all your crafting classes, this is how I suggest you meld, unless you have deep pockets or enough red scrips to achieve similar stats otherwise. The provided link and the work that has gone into it is courtesy of Katlyna (was lost without it and her help). Also just so you're aware, the 70durability and 35durability macros will also work for 80durability and 40durability crafts of the same or lower difficulty rating, respectfully.

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
-Buffing during cutscenes.
-Pets receiving the Protect buff.
-A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
-Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
-A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

I would try the following macro/rotation for 1 star synths. It will require some food but should be achievable with base crafting stats (718 Craftsmanship, 695 control). CP required is 431 with all hasty touches, 449 with one basic touch, and 467 with two basic touches (this is WITH food).
The macro for this is three parts and really long:
/ac "Maker's Mark" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Comfort Zone" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Flawless Synthesis" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Flawless Synthesis" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Flawless Synthesis" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Flawless Synthesis" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Flawless Synthesis" <me> <wait.3>

/ac "Flawless Synthesis" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Flawless Synthesis" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Flawless Synthesis" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Flawless Synthesis" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Comfort Zone" <me> <wait.2>
/echo Macro #1 complete <se.1>
/ac "Inner Quiet" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Waste Not II" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
/echo Macro #2 complete <se.1>
/ac "Master's Mend II" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Great Strides" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Ingenuity II" <me> <wait.2>
/ac "Byregot's Blessing" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
/ac "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
/echo Macro #3 complete <se.14>

Note while shown with HQ baked onion soup the above rotation would be workable with Bouillibiasse (you'll just loose one or both of the basic touches depending on your base CP). As noted around 5-7 flawless synthesis must complete for the rotation to work depending on your craftsmanship. Personally I see this acceptable.
The rotation shown has ~90% HQ rate and 99.9% success rate with 0 starting quality. With 1000 starting quality this pushes up to 95% HQ rate and with 2000 starting quality this pushes up to 99% HQ rate.
So if I were making food I would probably try something like that. Note... if you have lag change all your wait times to 4-6 seconds. Also note the macros would be best broken into four macros... where the last one starts right at /ac "Ingenuity II" <me><wait.2>. Specifically this is because if you get an excellent on the Ingenuity II step you need to cast Byregot's one step early (so it doesn't eat a poor).

Thank you very much, going to bookmark this until you get your ultimate guide completed and shared with the public
What do you think of the macros I wrote? They seem to be suiting me pretty decently for the time being
EDIT: Just so it doesn't seem like I'm a bad person, I wrote my macros after asking for help just in order to have something (anything) in case no one replied. I had no idea I was even capable of writing a working, successful macro. I wasn't asking for help when I had my own macros stashed away or anything like that.

I think they look good and have similar characteristics to my non 1 star rotations. As you saw with your 1 star rotation the HQ requirements are very hard. You have an interesting theory though of making a rotation with all basic/precise in which case you bank that your luck grants you an extra stack using precise. That is not a bad approach given I believe you have a 1/7 or 1/8 good/excellent proc chance. Silver posted stats on this and from my experience this is reasonable. So if you have six precise/basic attempts and a byregots, its fairly reasonable you'll often get at least one proc.
The question is while its statistically likely each step has a 1/7 chance... how does this actually play out in practice. I'm not quite sure as I haven't tried it before but as I said its not a bad idea on paper ;-)

Sorry to necro this thread a bit, but I have developed my own 1 star macro, which I find extremely effective despite my hatred for Hasty Touches:

*Take away Innovation to save 18CP if necessary.
Progress Breakdown Analysis:
At 763 craftsmanship, one can afford 2 failed Flawless Syn. (failed more than 2 FS? Just substitute one of the Hasties with a CS II! Easy!)
At 783 craftsmanship, one can afford 3 failed Flawless Syn.
At 811 craftsmanship, one can afford 4 failed Flawless Syn.
Total number of Hasty Touches = 12
Plus the use of Innov + Ingen2 to boost quality
So, despite the use of Hasty, it's very secure with quality. You can easily afford 4 failed Hasty and still do fine.
The macro is somewhat similar to what Katlyna proposed, but it made use of 3 Comfort Zones instead of 2. It needs slightly more successful FS than Kat's, and require more craftsmanship and slightly more CP. But this made use of more Hasties, and added Innovation apart from just Ingen2 at the end.
I have tested it on many 1 star CUL food, and it worked great. I don't know about other classes if they have the available cross class slots though.

Saw a rotation on reddit which utilize the name of element + band of element skills for 70 Durability 1star.

Compare with Caimie's Maker's Mark macro
This rotation is much quicker, also has 12 HT attempts but missing the Innovation before BB will give you a weaker quality boost. Craftsmanship requirement is lower and the all the progress moves are guaranteed
The biggest hinder is the high CP cost
1cp short to use cheap food HQ Bouillabaisse to perform it even with max CP melding (422+43 =465)
Last edited by AishaNymph; 01-08-2016 at 05:21 PM.
I just came up with another rotation open with maker's mark instead and this one will give you 13HT attempts
CP cost 466, recommend craftsmanship is 702

Out of curiosity why do flawless synth over muscle memory? From the recipes above it doesn't appear to be as much of a gain.
