If you're talking about Seal Rock (or old Frontlines), then believe me, no matter how bad you think you are, there are people FAR FAR worse out there xD Those PvP modes are pretty casual, specifically the 24v24v24 matches. If someone is calling out orders and you at least try to follow them, you're already better than a significant number of the people out there <_<

A few things though - put your PvP skills on your skill bar. They've very important, especially Purify (which all classes get). If you're a healer or caster, you're going to want VIT accessories (I'd suggest pure vit accessories for healer). You want enough HP to survive a melee LB at least. In Seal Rock and the Slaughter mode of Frontlines, LBs are personal. You can tell when it's personal by looking to see if your LB bar is called "Limit Break" or "Adrenaline" (Adrenaline is the personal one).

Skills are slightly different in PvP: Crowd Control abilities (stun, bind, heavy, etc) are reduced in duration. You can't see hidden ninjas, even if they're on your team. Cleric Stance is completely disabled for healers. Summoners cannot cast Resurrection. If you start an LB and then are either interrupted or cancel your cast, you lose half of your LB bar.

In these modes, you can also change classes at will in your staging area.
