Howdy fellow Rifter! I have mine on Wolfsbane, Allerien! nice to see the pics and I couldnt agree more to your post.

♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
if your friends can't hit DPS checks they shouldn't do Savage, if they care to complete it they can go back when the iLv goes up. i can't dunk a basketball, i don't tell the NBA to lower their rims. i go play EASports games instead.
the game does need more "midcore" stuff to do for that group of people and we don't have that content.
housing is a problem yea, nothing new there.
Yeah there will be people like you who honestly like to think they are the best and if someone else can't handle a flawless rotation, they shouldn't be doing the content.
That is such flawed logic. Your analogy is extremely flawed. 1. the NBA pays their players, the players don't NBA to play as final fantasy does.
Last night we did AS1, we had 3 people at 900+ dps, I was at 350-400 dps as a paladin the warrior was at 600-700, and the mch was 700-800. Now to be fair the mch could pull higher numbers or should. However if I were a warrior or a dk, I would have an easier time living, as well as doing more dps.
My point is simple we had perfect execution and a bit to low dps. The game shouldnt have such tight timers, it makes it not fun and makes people want to quit. How much fun it is throwing yourself at a boss time and time with perfect attempts only to have the boss enrage killing you because you aren't pulling the number, even though they say the are very much against dps meters.
Hi,
I love ffxiv. PvP needs a lot of work. /rant
Am I missing something or is this just stating the obvious while saying "I played everquest"
This is a problem because there is no other challenging content worth doing in the game atm, for midcore people. I completely understand you since this happened to one of my static members and he quit few days ago because of it being too demanding for his playstyle and not having fun anymore. He was missing that 40 dps, sometimes he could reach it, sometimes he couldn't and there's that. On top of the tight alignment for mechanics. It caused a lot of problems on hand phase. I mean we would reach phase 3 but not as constantly. Alex Savage is not exactly fun. I wouldn't mind if the rewards were worth the headaches

Just passing by to say that having to level and doing all MSQ and SSQ from 1-60 after the Expansion was implemented, I really felt overwhelmed, but by the quality of the quest lines on this game. The quality is close or even better than some single-players RPGs. To be honest, the only two games that made me feel this good while questing were FFVI, my all-time favorite game with my all-time favorite character and FFXII. So really, at least for me, that's not a point for complain about the game.
FFXIV has a LOT of flaws, one being the useless old equipment and lack of diversity, but MSQ and SSQ are not between its flaws.
Just want to chime in and say that I beg to differ here on MSQ and SSQ not being flaws. Not sure how many feel the same way, but I do at least feel that the storylines in the game aren't very interesting for the most part.
Comparable to? When you put FFXIV storyline side to side to other previous FFs, it stands out with big titles like FFXII, FFV and FFIV. Maybe not FFVI/VII level, but it's a great storyline for a MMO game. Compare it to other big MMOs like Ragnarok, WOW and Tera and you'll see that FFXIV has a much more in-depth quest line and story.
My first language isn't english, but I understand what he's saying, he's saying that the way raid works, the DPS's are too intense (they are) that healers and tanks have the need to adopt and basically stop doing their role and help DPS, so tanks have to dps hard besides tanking and obviously at least one of the healers and a reason why now people is being rejects certain jobs, when binding coil of bahamut was mainly about mechanics and a few DPS checks but not hard enough that even tanks and healers had to focus hard on this. Alexander is basically just a bunch of DPS checks, and I find it boring compared CoB mechanic wise.
