Converting HQ to NQ does not join the stack

I'll do my best to explain this , what I believe is a bug.

When lowering the quality of an item like going from HQ to NQ it doesn't automatically join the rest of the NQ stacks. It stays as a unique item as if it was a completely different material.

An example . I got 1 red ooid HQ and 12 red ooid NQ. Once I convert the HQ one to NQ it does not join the other 12 and even if I press sort still don't do it.

The only way to do it is to place them all into a retainer then they will all be one stack of 13.

Is this meant to be like this? Or a bug?

Sorting doesn't combine stacks. You have to do that manually.
And converting hq to nq takes place in the item slot that the item takes up. It's not treated as a new drop into your inventory.
If you mean that you can't combine the stacks manually, then that would be a bug that should be posted in the bug forum.

If you talking about the HQ > NQ automatically joining the rest of the NQ then no it does not do that you have to manually drag the ones you made NQ onto the other slot of NQ items.
