Ls member has the Turban and they said they got it from stronghold. The head peice would also be the only part I'd be interested in for group DPS activities. The rest would be good mostly for Solo/swapping out better materia gear at low % if you can't repair and don't want to go bk to town.

No it's not. She wears a white shirt, a white and dark black turban, red and gold plate boots, and a pair of white Hyur undergarment (no leg armor).

What do people think about this set for soloing? I'm thinking of trying to go for it for that (minus the turban).

The more I see this thread or talk about the stats, the more I want parts from it... specifically the gloves. I still want the Shirt/Turban though. The Turban has (as far as I know) the most STR we can have in the head slot. Since you can't attach STR or ATK materia there that would theoretically make it the best dps piece assuming you don't have to hold hate for something right? I'm not sure how the +DEX influences critical hit rate to know if that would make the Tricorne better.

I heard these pieces come from coffers and I kind of just assumed it was the BW Stronghold. Is that where they're from? I've only gotten one key so far and it was junk =/

Friend of mine told me it was from Natalan (sp?) I didn't check but he's done that more then me so worth a shot. I personaly will get it just to have it cause yea it does have very nice stats. Even though you can't put materia in it, it still has stats you can't get from materia so it would be nice to have for when the time calls for them. I just dont understand why Sent gear is able to be slotted but ours and mage gear cant. Who knows maybe they will change it, but if not oh well lol.

I prefer Rainmaker's Tunic anyhow. Higher defense and STR + Attack Power is more beneficial for boss fights than evasion or magic evasion. For solo maybe not but is there anything really troublesome when soloing as a PUG?

P.S. Why the hell can GLD and MRD equip every damn thing we can. Talk about lack of class identity. Those should be limited to high DEF gear. If they can use evasion gear what is the point. /endrant

I was wondering if anyone had the full set yet. Often in xi there was a bonus for the full set and thought maybe that could be the case here.
