I few weeks ago i came to the forums with a question about which PC to buy, after alot of advice and recommendations, youtube videos and research i created my first PC!

i put it together last night, loaded up ffxiv and was blown away... no more low settings with 7 fps... i didnt even know fps could go over 100 let alone on Max settings, thanks for for the advice and it was alot of fun. I can actually play the game!

Glad this worked out for you. Congrats, enjoy the game, and be sure to revisit some old places and fights... The devs put quite a bit of polish into some areas and it really shows.

edit: Oh, and if some months down the line you have money for a new monitor... that video card should be able to run 1440p (2560x1440) np. That's the res I'm running and the game looks really nice.

I did a dungeon and could see the transition of the orange markers so i was moving out of aoes with ease, seeing a battle happen with lights flashing, spells being flung was amazing!
