no one talk about the echo. explination please =^.^=
to me sounds like a Zelda thing.
I wouldn't mind seeing echos of the guildleve as per intro cs suggests.
Looks like they puting more into wuhat ffxi started with wings of the goddess.

But more explination please =^.^=

its an ability your character finds out they have during the course of the story, its kind of like having a flashback and being able to critically analyze it.

a little plot devicey but also neat.
