Even if they knew when it'd happen, what makes you think they'd report to you with an exact date and time? Details and plans are still privy to change, so just trust that it's coming. The world's not going to end because you can't be bothered to start up a regular synthesis and plough through it with the progress building actions, since quick synthesis is only doing the same thing in effect.

These boards in general? I could see a reason to give a timeframe (if not a specific date) in order to get people to calm down.

I mean, I'd hope its coming with 3.1 ... but given the date of that dev post, I'd hoped it would come with 3.05, and when it didn't I'd hoped it would come with 3.06, and when it didn't I'd hoped it would come with 3.07, which is where we are now. Simply telling the world at large that it is coming with 3.1 would be nice, even though we don't know when 3.1 will be.
