Somewhere comfy? Bah I am a FemRoe! I have no need for comfort! (tho like 75% of the time I use the bed in the inn to log out, don't tell anyone you'll ruin my reputation ;P )

yes... i go to a inn before the housing was implemented.
after it was implemented i go into my house. change into the night gown that i renamed the gear set to "log out" and log out.
I always logout in the Inn Room cx even when I forget to, I literally log back in (after being offline for a few hours) to go to the inn to log back out so my character is in a nice bed sleeping c:
I've actually claimed the tavern at Camp Drybone as my personal hangout on my server. It's usually where I go to sit when waiting on the DF, or on friends who are getting ready for a run, as well as where I always go back to to log out.....
There's just something I like about the aesthetics of it, it's in a good position world wise by being right in the middle of everything in terms of teleport costs so I don't feel bad about having it as my free teleport zone, and while it gets some traffic from time to time, it's few enough that it's never really crowded, which suits me......
Keep in mind the time compression. It's about 20:1... 24 hours in Eorzea is about 70 minutes on Earth. So if I'm away for sixteen hours, my character is spending nearly two weeks wherever I've left her.
(I have, by the bye, a theory that Adventurers are manic-depressive: they go and go and go for days while we're connected to them, ignoring the need for sleep for days. Then we disconnect, and they spend weeks not being able to work up the energy to even get out of bed).
So, yes; it seems like common courtesy to leave her someplace comfortable when I log out.
I logged out in an inn room ever time the servers went down back in beta. That kinda fell apart during the transition to live. (My first beta character I like to think died in his sleep (The second one was carried over to live and is right over there <-)
Yeah I must log out somewhere personal, like my personal house, so when i log on I'm not immediately seen by people. LOL
Yeah Lego, there use to be hoards of people running to the inn right before the maintenance lol that was cool.
My idle spot high in the churning mists - generally sit there anyway while waiting to run stuff etc... it's a nice quiet place with some beautiful music and great views. Even get visitors every so often hehe.
Always in the Ishgard inn or at my FC house. I do like my character to be cozy xD
I REALLY wish we could treat our house rooms like inn rooms though... special log out animation and music, and waking up in the same spot.
I leave it in front of my FC house while watching Mist beach.
