I don't use EJ because by the time my threat is high enough I've most likely already used SSD and DFD and I'm not walking all the way back.. Unless whatever I pulled is literally about to kill me, I just tank it like a boss and move on. It's not about ego, I don't think anyways, it's about I have 15k+ hp on drg, and enough CDs to reasonable survive nearly 20k of damage (not at once, of course :P) so the tank really shouldn't be bothered. I don't actively try to do those things on purpose, it's just not a priority to manage unless it's going to kill me. The tank will get it back eventually or it will die first. I don't even care if the healer heals me, again, I have CDs, and if I'm really about to die than I EJ out and we're all hunky-dory.

If we are talking about low level.. I've run everything up to Stone Vigil without even having a tank. Just 3 dps and heal. For that matter, I've run lv50 dungeons before with 3 dps and 1 tank, no healer at all. Who needs em :P Obviously not everything is like that, though.
