As a dps, if I steal aggro there's two ways, if I see I can kill the stuff before it really has chance with me, I do so. If it seems the mob will die slow, like bosses, I ease up and let the tank to get it back, even if it does lower my dps. Having aggro fight with tank doesn't benefit anyone.

If I tank and I see I loose a mob to dps, a mob that's likely dead in one or two more hits I don't chase it. It's nothing to do with passive aggressive "you take it you tank it" but simply the reality that I better keep the attention of the other mobs, the one lost case is practically dead anyway. Especially with ranged dps the melee mobs hardly even reach them in time.

If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.

^ This... i also stopped to take charge while running or gathering mobs – 90% of the random tanks will take the same spots to tank nearly the same sized mobs. If i (or the healer) take aggro on that spots i useally try to kill that ad asap (playing BRD) or i make my way to the tank to give it "back". I wonder about the tanks, who never try to take them back... leaving 1-2 ads in the middle of the party hmm...

    Both of these.

As a full time DRG, I can rip hate on any mob at any time on any Tank. Regardless of their skill. It happens. However, if I screw up I'll blow cooldowns so the healer can continue to do their job healing the tank and the rest of the PT. I will kill the mob I have taken UNLESS it's a boss, in which case I wait for the tank to regain hate. Elusive jump SUCKS as an Enmity mitigator. I've tried it several times and it's gotten me or my PT killed more times than doing one of the previously aforementioned options. So screw that. Also, since I was a full time Healer back in 1.0, I know when I screw up and rip hate to blow my defensive cooldowns, use a potion if need be or drop 2nd wind. I don't feel it's the healer's job to heal me or have to concentrate on me being a derp or just to OP vs the tank, and waste their MP. I can handle myself and if I can't, I lol DRG and die.

Problem in all honesty is player mentality. Too many people have their epeens hurt when they can't show off. Personally, I show off by doing my job correctly and DPSing the hell out of mobs so we can win the fight and move on and by showing I'm a teamplayer. I may give my FC mates a hard time or friends when i rip hate and it's all fun, but in PFs or DFs, it's all business.
