I have actually wished from time to time for a /suicide command or something. Just an "autokills you" thing. I can't for the life of me recall WHY I wanted it

To just lay on the ground.
Also it's just funny..i remember my times in RO, on private servers that would allow /die (or allow admins /killall, man that was funny)...

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
/stuck in SWTOR autokilled your character. If a progression team made too many mistakes people could /stuck to wipe it up quickly. It was a nice tool. If we could get /stuck and have our cooldowns reset upon wipes progression would be a lot nicer on FF14. As it stands now progressing is a bit...clunky feeling. Instances have timers yet they don't let you utilize that time very wisely.
I'd only suggest turning off /stuck in PvP. Because people can /stuck before someone kills them and cheat them of those points.
It would be useful if your character gets stuck and you can't teleport for whatever reason. There have been a few times where my character got stuck at a gathering node and I couldn't change classes, teleport, or move. At that point I'd rather have a command that kills myself so I could just return to my aetheryte bind. Of course such a command would have to automatically override anything that gets you stuck whether you're gathering/falling/etc. It's also handy during lost raid encounters where your group is going to die anyway.
