Taking into account their culture I kinda doubt this is as big of an issue. Theres an air of politeness and openess about japanese culture when it comes to a game like this. As has been said many time in the thread, if someone is nice enough to ask then alot of the time a farm group will allow one person in as long as they say they will stay to help farm for awhile. I would be willing to bet that there isnt the kind of subterfuge that happens on our side of the equation. It's not helping new people that is frustrating, honestly that can be very fulfilling, it's when someone out right lies to get something they want. That is the frustrating part of it.

This option isnt about segregating the populace. It's about putting in place clear lines of communication. Even if the box was checked, someone could still /tell the leader and ask if it was alright. If I was a leader and the group said that was fine then they would still be able to join the group.

Not saying this doesn't happen on the japanese side, but I'd be willing to bet that it's not nearly as big of an issue.

So in conclusion, I think the Japanese players base would look at this as a sorta "why do we need this" sort of mindset.

This is an interesting little quote, so let's analyze. What your saying here is that even if someone clears a fight then they might not know it. That statement is a truth. I won't even fight you on that.

However, your painting in very broad strokes here. Thats like saying that water can kill you and pointing out that noone should drink it. The first is a solid truth, however you application of it is incorrect. Most people who have a clear at the very least have a basic understanding of the fight. This is much easier to work with than someone walking into it with no experience at all.

You can read the second paragraph of this same post to sort out the rest of your argument.
