As I don't join farm groups I couldn't care less about the whims and woes that accompany said task. If I had to put forth an opinion on the subject it would be take what you get and deal with it or don't. I don't get the best of circumstances with players as a healer but I don't come here looking for a band aid. The problem is inexperience so teach them. You don't want newbs? Once they learn they won't be. Then you all can farm, farm, farm until you're blue in the face. You're either part of the solution or part of the problem. A check box doesn't solve the problem it just seems like it because people can't be bothered to, you know, act like people.

Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all.

It's alright, don't say sorry, I was in the wrong, I deserved to be kicked in that instance since the party clearly states no newcomers, I'll have to credit the party leader at the time for his judgement allowing me to join the party.

I should've said beforehand that there is a newbie with them, or not join the party at all.

As to why I said that this idea is in-between good or bad, it's because of

And in return, can we get try-hards to NOT join learning parties on the Party Finder, and then complain that there was a single wipe (because they were expecting it to be an easy farm group)?

I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.

This thread really shows that reading comprehension is somewhat lacking here.

No wonder 50% screwed up the hairstyle voting.

Thread: Yes, more options would be nice.

Nah, let's block off content for people that aren't able to experience it any other way. Sounds like a good plan.
They make or join a Party Finder with flag Newcomers welcome maybe?

As long as the option to tick "newcomers not welcome" is not available if you're new yourself or already have a newcomer in the party, I'm not against it. Bad experiences with the second possibility. Not a fan of joining a learning party (not in the PF yet) then realize it says "farm" in the PF after the leader sets it, either.

I have read the title and expected this to be another troll thread but I am surprised.

After hundreds of pony farms and other stuff I have farmed in PF since it came out I totally agree with you. Adding this doesn't take anything from the game, just provides people with more options to form their parties.

Also if anyone without clear is confident about his experience and farming, he can always /tell and be invited if party leader decides (happens really often even now).

I believe that when you clear something a couple of times you have the right to find people with the same experience instead of wasting hours to get a single kill. It's extremely time efficient.

It took me over 20 clear parties and 1 week to get 10 tokens on Bismarck EX (there were no farm parties ever so I helped people with clears, BisEX is good only for glamour), while it took me 2 farm parties and a few hours to get 10 tokens on Ravana EX. I treasure my spare time so I support OP.

And sorry but I don't think that anyone still likes these "I don't use this so no one needs it" replies.

I don't think this will happen and rightly so. Almost every single party finder would be locked out from newcomers which is wrong and i believe SE would feel the same way.

I myself have joined PF Parties that were farm parties with out the clear.

As a general rule though, I do either tell message the party leader for their approval or join the party and immediately inform them of my "noob" status for the general consensus of the team.

If they're not ok with it, I politely bow out. (How ever, being rude and just kicking with out saying anything after I've been honest will almost certainly result in being placed on my black list)

I've been given a chance before with out the clear and the team just ask me politely to leave until I have some more experience, and I politely thank them for the chance and bow out. I've also been given the benefit of the doubt and completely wreaked the boss with the party like I had run it a hundred times. (Which I usually have via trying and dying).

How ever, the rudeness of not speaking up prior to a run and ending up ruining it for every one else is something that needs to be culled as it make for an even more toxic environment. And the Elitists are already toxic enough with out being rilled up by inconsiderate trolls and rude "Sleeper" rookies sneaking in to the elitist farms.

I guarantee there'd be more nice "Farm Masters" willing to give people a shot if people would stop being rude and jumping in Farm parties with Zero experience. (And I'll personally attest that a video is no substitute for practical experience in raid level content)

An option to block new players joining a clear/farm party marked as "no newcomers" is much needed. Joining pony farms just to see bonus, after scraping the barrel for a full party, will lead to the group disbanding quickly. You are in to clear quickly, not wipe endlessly or teach mechanics; that's what learning parties are for.
