Why is it that whenever someone makes a topic like this about Party Finder we get a bunch of people that come into the thread trying to talk about how "omg that wouldn't work in Duty Finder"? They're two completely separate things.Oh no! Oh no! Oh yeahhhh.
On topic:
The title is totally bait-y. After reading the op... I understand you but however the DF is heavily tied with the main story line. So it practically encourages new players to use it. Therefore, in my theory, if they did such a thing they'd probably have to re-work the main story line. At least in how to deliver the idea to the said new player to use party finder for each dungeon that ties with main scenario quest.
So IMO..if you wanna farm just use the party finder to find like minded people..that's what its there for :/
If anything, Duty Finder should be exclusively for people who've beaten content already.
But then those on low pop servers would never get anywhere, I'd imagine.

You obviously completely ignored the thread as the entire topic is about PARTY FINDER. I have no idea where people are getting duty finder from. Please read before commenting.
My god, i had a bad first impression of the forum but people still confuse Party with Duty finder xD.
The only thing i was thinkin its, if they make this happend, they should make all contend DF possible, because a lot of people just want to put no First clears allowed after they first clear and people goin to come with fire and forks to the forums
I know my english its bad, don't bully me T_T.
Yes, that's perfectly understandableIt obviously wouldn't work for things such as Ravana or Bismark but I think those should be added to the duty finder regardless.
Block first timers from party finder? Sure, why not. Oh, but how are you gonna get into content to experience the fight in the first place when it's not available in duty finder and your guild isn't willing/capable of helping? Huh... we have a problem.
Nah, let's block off content for people that aren't able to experience it any other way. Sounds like a good plan.
Use your common sense.. It obviously wouldn't apply to those duties or they would have to add them to DF.Block first timers from party finder? Sure, why not. Sorry, I was looking at the issue the way you were presenting it. Either, this is not the best of ideas.
You're being deliberately obtuse. It would be as simple as adding a checkbox to this list:Block first timers from party finder? Sure, why not. Oh, but how are you gonna get into content to experience the fight in the first place when it's not available in duty finder and your guild isn't willing/capable of helping? Huh... we have a problem.

or even making one of the existing checkboxes have the added effect of blocking people without a clear from joining. People would still have the option of PM'ing the party leader and asking if they are OK to join if they've been to 5% or whatever, it would just keep people from ninja'ing their way in and hoping that people will carry them.
