Excatly, farming IS FARMING. Not the time to help newbs with their clears.OP want to the option to put a barrier. Where in reality the problem lies into the community being honest to each other. Primals farming a thing everyone wishes to accomplish for the weapons, TT cards and ponies or whatever motive people have behind them. Farming is farming.
Even new people can make friends, ask FC for help or make LS specificly for clearing/training content. I know because I was in few for coil and Bisex & Ravex.Make social network, linkshells friends, contacts. Then go for the win with such pre made group. Party Finder is a community tool. I understand it's not perfect to everyone's eyes but blocking people from each other is a terrible idea.
Nobody around one night? Tempt your luck with community and just hope people are honest. And besides if you know they are first timer. It is because you achieved the kill anyway and that they got their achievement appearing in chat log. So that is another BIG point.
So please understand other's point of view as well before being judge mental.

Yes I never disagreed to this. In fact I am all for promoting the use of communication between players. If people would communicate more like it was the case back in early days of MMO's, it would eliminate half the complaining.
But Party Finder should remain a tool for the community in general. The item level is already enough of a big setting that allows to weed out a good amount of players, like casual players who might not necessarily have the same item level. And even force some people to play on their right job where they can delivery their A game.

I wouldn't find sneaky newbs in my farm parties if just ilvl setting was enough, even casuals can get there(even if it takes them a bit longer).Yes I never disagreed to this. Hahaha, right? Imagine T7 in DF day one. Group didn't have a ranged to kite? GG Renauds. Enjoy your ready-made failure. It has more to do with party comp than bads, especially in the older stuff. That matters a lot more when stuff gets launched.
"I cleared T1-5(even T3), T6, T7, and got T8 to 2% in DF."
By then you and your group outgeared it and the strats had become standard. Day 1 progression is a whole different game.
I love when people do their homework and watch videos before queueing up for content, but watching a video and studying up on the fight is completely different from actually being in it. Videos don't give you the same sense of timing as actually going through the mechanics, especially since party comp is highly variable. Party DPS is also a factor - having higher or lower DPS than the people in the video can cause phases to be pushed oddly or be stretched out longer. Videos are meant to be guides, but the only thing that can tell you how to optimize your play within an encounter is being in the encounter itself. Someone that hasn't been past a certain point in the encounter (or even been in the encounter at all) is lacking information that's vital to the success of the group. It's not just a matter of knowing what to do. It's a matter of reacting quickly when the time comes.
Nobody here is being judgemental, and I really wish people would stop implying otherwise. Many of the people posting in favor of this option often help newer/less experienced people learn and clear content. My raid static spent six weeks leading up to Heavensward running several hours of learning parties every Saturday night. We love helping people, but we also have times when we want to simply go beat the ever-living hell out of something with people that already know the fight inside and out.So please understand other's point of view as well before being judge mental.

This, sooo much this. I don't mind helping. If bored I'll join kill parties and such(or even randomly DF exs/coils). But there are times I am not in the mood at wiping for hours on the simplest mechanics because someone is new to the fight. But yes I never had a problem allowing "new" people to join farm parties and such - and so far for the most part it wasn't bad. They understood the fight to the point where it wasn't them doing the mistakes. But sometimes it would be nice to be re-assured that upon entering you won't get that "new player message".
Are you done being rude people? I have did read the whole thing of it. So knock it off with the toxic behavior and allow people to express their opinions as well. Plus name calling in a post is prohibited. Since people are being so rude I am reporting name call I am going to see.

There are so many well thought out explanations of why we want this feature to be added, along with counter arguments which have raised some valid thoughts on this matter.
Just labelling this toxic behavior clearly shows you have no fully understood the wealth of information provided, nor have you reached a point to be capable of farming content we are discussing.
If you had, you would of experienced what we are all talking about and would be able to either agree or disagree without the need of "labelling" us all as "toxic"

No, you go back and read. The reason I have pronounced myself on this, is due to those who plays princess and basically called me out instead of taking time to read me.Just labelling this toxic behavior clearly shows you have no fully understood the wealth of information provided, nor have you reached a point to be capable of farming content we are discussing.

Like everyone else, I am member of this game and I got the right to mention my opinion without being made a fool of because a majority of this people who would like this feature are for the elitism. Which is fine, everyone has the right to opinion. But forcing me to agree after I disagreed and making fun of me, is indeed toxic.
