Ya know, I'm thinking now that if people are caught lying through their keyboard about their progress SE should respond by permanently banning their account w/o appeal.

I'm not sure there's any other solution but that.

once people start using that option to exclude the very same people who asked for it and they cannot win a single fight because they are with all the new players they locked out from the start what then?

What? If you haven't cleared it (and thus proven you can win a fight), you wouldn't be able to use the option for that particular fight. And I'm fairly sure the majority of people approving of this either are the kind of person who enjoys beating things as early as possible (going into new content the same day it's released, etc, when everyone is new) or the kind who wouldn't want to be carried in the first place anyway.
No, I'm not saying everyone supporting this suggestion are of that mind, but I know I am and I'm fairly certain of at least a couple of people in this thread.

Yes, people having won it once -- by accident, learning or buying a clear -- would be able to circumvent it, but I would like to claim that those people are a very small minority of the problem at hand.

Yes, the option would quite possibly increase the amount of clear sells, which is a bad thing. But on the other hand, it would also quite possibly increase the amount of practice/clear parties.

Plus this thread causes drama, it should be abolished.

Um... You're causing a lot of said drama all on your own. It's not necessarily the fault of the thread.

First people say don't look at TITLE clearly its wrong people say, so first thing its miss leading, secondly, if you've done the fight you're not a first timer and still will mess up the fight regardless of the rules being set and farm up things its not going to work.

Well let me say first, that this has been addressed in the first post of the thread and throughout it. It has been petitioned several times for a change, but with no result. So, there's really not alot to be done about it unless somebody decides to change it.

You aren't a first timer and of course people are going to pay for a rush and still going to mess up the runs that is my point.

Of course this is going to happen, but as I said in my last post, your painting with broad strokes here. A much smaller percentage than people seem to think buy their way through fights. It's not a valid option for alot of people due to sheer cost. This option would still filter out some of the chaff though. Otherwise, we have to go 100% on someones word which simply does not work.

People come on here chewing others out because they say they don't like the idea or the idea wont work and here you come harassing me saying I am causing drama well you're wrong.

Actually some of us are just having a friendly debate by countering points made by people coming into the thread... which are generally met with no replies or met with generic anger and misunderstanding. It seems you enjoy painting others with broad strokes.

Um, no. No I'm not. If I happen to end up in the same threads you do from time to time, it is not because I'm following you, it's because the topic of said thread is something that interests me as well. And I'm looking at the posts you've made in THIS thread, not whatever you may have posted elsewhere.

Your posts in this thread have tended to be... well, quite dramatic and over-the-top, and then you state that the thread is causing drama, when I've seen maybe two or possibly three people in this thread making posts that could be included in that. And like people have said (several times), yes the title is slightly misleading, but the first post explains what the OP wants, and has added in an edit since a long time ago that they know the title is misleading and that they didn't mean it that way.

If people come into this thread just from looking at the thread title and don't read the first post and then "bring drama"... TBH, I'm placing the blame for that at the drama-bringers' feet, since it's only reasonable to read the initial post before responding.

Zeonx, the only person causing drama in this thread is you. Threads will get debate and clashing opinions no matter what, because it's the Forums. Stop trying to get this thread locked just because you don't agree with it.

Your points state you don't understand the thread at all so please read it again or go elsewhere. It's not just about players being good, bad, wiping, or not wiping the party. Its about people misusing farm parties to get their clear and thinking that's okay.

Oh, by bringing up the title you've proved you clearly haven't read the thread. I apologised multiple times and requested to have it changed multiple times.

Over dramatic much? I don't 'hate' people who disagree with the thread but quite frankly I haven't seen ONE valid reason this can't be implemented other than people whining because they can't get a free clear or people who can't read the thread.

Plus yes, you are causing drama by saying this thread should be locked when there's absolutely no reason to other than the fact you don't agree with it. You're allowed an opinion but don't try to lock my thread out of spite.

Disagreeing and posting valid reasons is one thing, disagreeing, spouting drama, ignoring entirely vaild and undebateble points, and crying for topic close is another. Also spouting falsehoods like it being useless. You aren't debating anything.

You are wrong the thread is miss leading from the start and yeah I am debating on that option and the flaws but I have came to decision to stay out of threads like these.

Because people tend to follow each other turn a blind eye scim over things people say the forums are bad much, I like WoW forums best least they can give a good conversation nobody is afraid to speak their mind.

I am done with forums completely focusing on game now peace.
