Block first timers from Party Finder!

The only way this would work is if they added a thingy where it shows that so and so had cleared x content and/or how many times they have cleared it I guess.
Right now, you're rolling the die and hoping so and so cleared it and are being honest of the clears.
I think I'm understanding this right because we're talking about PARTY FINDER OPTIONS, right?
I dunno anymore since everyone's saying different things on these pages lol.

It doesn't lock out anyone. People are sick and tired of liars
not knowing how to run stuff. You have your choice to make a more casual way of clearing content.
You also should get friends/FC to help. This is coming from someone who has never touched PF
and did 99% in DF [I did T5 with a FC and will not touch the 2 next Primal's unless in DF due to time constraints and such.]
So if people make rules you don't like, then make your own group.
I don't understand why that's a hard concept to people not tryna be mean lol.

Yeah, option. As in you aren't forced to do it. People that want to make clear parties can still make clear parties.

The thing is, the players this affects are already unwelcome. People wanting to make clear parties can still do so. People wanting to join without a clear but knowing the fight because they've been to 5% can PM the party leader just like they can now. People that ninja into farms already end up getting kicked, possibly ending up on peoples' blacklists for joining a farm when they don't know the fight. What this suggestion would avoid is the waste of time and the sheer number of parties that just plain fall apart because of the unnecessary drama of someone that wants a carry deciding they're gonna jump in and play "let's pretend I know what's going on here."

My understanding is that it's less that, more: "Get these filthy casuals out of the game! No screw ups, ever" but I can't say I see this option having any effect either way. People that paid for their clear will still get into farm parties and screw up.

1) you just read the title

2) PARTY finder GROUPS are not to be all inclusive, they are for A PLAYER to find LIKE MINDED players to do LIKE MINDED content.

why are you coming off like PF needs to work like DF?

If you sneak your way into a farm party you are breaking an agreement to farm, if your their for a clear which can ve reportable under the player agreement, and disruption of gameplay.

As a clear seeker you are breaking the agreement to farm by not being there to farm You are disrupting the game play of others by leaving after said clear.

You're so against this suggestion and bringing the 'wow you so elitist' argument into this, yet you have a thread up yourself about people using farm parties for carries. Hypocrisy much? You're acknowledging there's a problem but are so opposed to a solution and make me out to be the bad guy because I'm tired of rude players?

Also, your understanding is ridiculously wrong, so please attempt to understand it the way it's actually presented instead of turning this against me. Also you realise this isn't just about 'screw ups' right? It's about people using farms for clears. Again, proves you've barely read the thread or don't have a clue what we're actually asking for.

I've read every post in this extremely long thread. If I have misunderstandings, it's more likely that people haven't been perfectly clear, or because I doubt they're being completely honest.

The thing is, your responses show that you think it's a selfish or elitist request and we don't want new players in our party, when this isn't the case at all.

If someone hasn't cleared, but they /tell me, be honest, and explain how much of the fight they know, I'd glady bring them along. This isn't 'you're a noob and I don't want you in my party' like you're making out. They could wipe us multiple times, I've been there, done that, posted screenshots to prove it, and still didn't kick them.

The problem I have is not against new players, but dishonest players, or players who think it's okay to join a farm, get their clear, and leave. Hence this being an option. I'm very patient with new players. I explain fights, I join learning parties, I help others. Please get out of your mind that this is trying to discriminate new players. It's discriminating dishonest players.

You can argue with me all you like about how this request is selfish or elitist but the fact of the matter is that the people who lie, waste people's time and ruin others gaming experience are the selfish ones.

Also, your argument about people still paying for clears doesn't matter, you know yourself that this option would massively reduce this still. It would be stupid to think this would be 100% effective but it certainly saves a lot of people's time.
