@Vanillawafer, thanks for the feedback but this thread is about Party Finder, primarily for players who want to farm content. Duty finder wouldn't be affected.
Oh. Well, that's something of a relief. If that's so, there are checkboxes. I guess people don't utilize them enough?
I am conflicted on how I feel upon reading this request, only because.... what if someone was carried by a seller? what if someone who was super bad at the fight and died maybe.... 5 times ended up clearing because their group was able to do it without x member? There are times when new players to content join and don't say anything but I've seen my fair share of 'experienced' players do poorly in some contents as well, some which at times were very outdated..... it just happens and it's a big gamble.
If SE does this then I suppose it's not a bad idea, it may increase success rates by a lot but I don't think that this is just restricted to "Oh I got this awful first timer in my group" as opposed to "This person just isn't experienced to the point I'd like them to be for this fight" :x
But all the same I wish you good luck with this proposal!![]()

People utilise them like crazy and also state in huge capital letters 'FARM ONLY, EXPERIENCED PLAYERS ONLY, NO BONUS' etc and new players who have no idea what they're doing choose to ignore it, and try to use the party for their clear. This either ends up with the new player(s) either having no idea of the fight and wasting other people's time when they're trying to farm, or they clear the fight and leave, again wasting other people's time as they have to find a replacement. This actually happened to me again today.
This option would basically enforce the checkboxes that are already in place and stop new players joining if they wanted to. The new player could still request to join the party and it would be up to the leader, but they couldn't sneak in expecting a free clear or to mess up the fight for others trying to farm.

Of course, that does happen but it would happen MUCH less often with this option. Again, people may know the fight, but when it boils down to it, a player should respect a party leaders rules, and if it says 'no bonus' and they haven't cleared they just shouldn't join without asking the leader. But thank you! It's appreciatedI am conflicted on how I feel upon reading this request, only because.... what if someone was carried by a seller?

Well, since you put it that way, I actually had come across with the similar issue, not long ago. People come to the party, clear, get useless bonus because reasons, grab loot, leave. Frustrating all around.
All of the grr.
Yeah, I'm in full agreement here. If you and the party intend to spend time to farm, your mind is focused on farming.
If you new players need a clear, grab some FC members or your friends. Don't ruin our flow with your looting and scooting.

I'm a Glamour maniac. I'm currently having a rather difficult time getting people together for Urth's Fount. And even worse, I keep bumping into new players joining, clearing, looting on pieces I want, AND LEAVING. RUDE! So, I can relate very much so.
There are no "perfect fixes", you just limit what you can. And that's what this would do, limit it, and in doing so, save oh so many peoples time. Everytime a PF falls apart from this issue, 8 peoples time is wasted, if you can eliminate it from happening 9/10 times, or even 2/3 times. That's a lot of time saved.I am conflicted on how I feel upon reading this request, only because.... what if someone was carried by a seller? what if someone who was super bad at the fight and died maybe.... 5 times ended up clearing because their group was able to do it without x member?
