Block first timers from Party Finder!

I 100% agree with op,

There needs to be an option in PF to not allow first timers non clearers to join gear farm party's and in fact I will go one step further there should be a DF option to not group with new people if you have cleared the duty 5+ times then you know you wont be with people who got carried and should clear it no problems on farm even.

DF needs to be left alone - no disrespect intended, but it is there specifically to assign people regardless of expereince together. While I do believe people need to go into these fights having read/researched it (No reason to que Ravana-EX blind when it goes DF-able), I Do not think we should isolate the playerbases in DF when we have PF to create specified teams.

All for the support of being able to customize and control your PF better.

There's kind of a teeny tiny little Grand Canyon size gap in the idea to make an option to not allow people that are new, or even a set amount of clears.

"Selling Alex, Ravana EX, Bismarck EX!" etc groups exist. and while fairly overpriced, the people who have the gil and no skill are still going to find their way into your group by getting X amount of paid clears to bypass that check. You think that as soon as they become eligible for a run, they're going to pay whatever the price is now when they could just go leech off of your group for free?

Or on the other hand, they can start their own group requiring X amount of runs and hope they get the premium players so they can leech.

All day yesterday farming for glamour in a party with "multi kill only" and we'd start and see the 100 tome bonus... which would shortly be followed by either a carry while they were dead > them leaving or them making it near impossible to do it > causing the actual farm capable players to leave.

Rarely do these people have the decency to even look up what they try to leech, literally just sneaking in for a carry... such ignorance to the point they think they can do this, on fights where the mechanics will reveal them, it's annoying.

So yeah, I100% support this suggestion, if only to filter out the bulk of these rude people.

I'm absolutely sick of seeing posts like this. Stop flipping it around. Why can't the players joining my farm get THEIR own static instead of messing up my groups? STOP BEING LAZY and make your own clear group.

Honestly I don't farm primals cause I could really care less about the pony's. But in respect to those that are farming when I do a clear party with another I make a clear party in the PF. Their time is as valuable as anyone else's. If the description says that it's a farm party and your joining it without the intention to do so, then your wasting someone's time. You are the bad guy in that instance as you are ignoring the wishes of 7 others for selfish reasons.

That's my entire point, thank you. Some people don't seem to understand that they're the rude ones by joining the farm party. Apparently I'm the bad one for not accepting the new players.

Didn't you know...

If you want to farm or do anything that doesn't involve mindlessly and skillessly farming tomes...or worse yet, tackle content that is difficult, time consuming and something you actually have to put time and skill into, that you are an elitest.

I mean you NEED to carry people and you cannot do anything if you are not willing to help someone learn something, cause if you don't you are an elistest jerk. Just like that fancy gear that you worked for, or that mount that you got that I don't have because I haven't done the necessary content to get it, that makes you an elistest jerk too.

I mean why are all these people doing things and getting things that I cant get because I don't want to put the time into it. It should be something I can on my schedule. SE has no business creating content that I cannot complete because I work 50 hrs a week. I mean who do they think they are. They must be elitests too. Hmph

All you people make me so mad. I don't want to put the work in, and I don't have time to either. But that doesn't mean that I don't deserve that mount, or that weapon or that gear. I am a paying customer and I want that now!

This is why snipping only part of peoples posts should be banned, the point of putting a must have minimum dps to join simply replaces must have this item lvl and this much exp, list goes on. i'm all for letting as many people try to do content as the next person but if they keep failing to meet the min requirements i'm not going to let the people who are meeting them be held back.

to make this very clear for you Jay I do not consent to parser in duty finder, that is where any level of play style is allowed, not in PF where 90% of the groups want at least ok dps and a certain amount of exp.
This exclusion you talk about its already happening on a much worse scale than when I played wow years ago, we also had parser(recount) and groups asking for min dps req back then and it was better compared to how allot of FFXIV PF requirements are. If things have gotten worse its the new type of player-base vs the old. LMFAO

If I where to not doing my job(tank) in my raid and was asked to leave I would understand, how is this different for a dps who joins PF, who did not meet min dps req for Ravanna ex.. Feel free to tell me the actual min dps req here I heard its 600 to 700, give or take either way.
It took me a week to get Ex Bizmark down because of 1 or 2 people not meeting dps req in most party finders(yes many of the party leaders used ACT) one run had bard pulling less than 300 dps, in your world he would be allowed to continue to screw everyone else over.
So yes next time you snip someones post make sure you read the whole post not come across as stupid. ( oh wait its the forums)
