I'm really sorry to say this, but... you just contradicted yourself there. Considering the whole "I don't want to carry noobs" was said specifically in relation to the issue with those noobs who are being jerks who lie (either outright by saying "Yeah, I've cleared this", or by omission by just keeping their mouth shut even when the question of "Ok, who gave us the 'new player bonus' message?") in order to join farm parties... if you're ignoring that whole premise, you are disregarding the issue/argument.

The majority of people arguing for this PF option have several times during the thread stated that they like joining practice and/or clear parties. But not when they have planned to do a series of quick runs of, say, Bismarck Ex for the weapon glamours.

As to the whole question of "If all the experienced players lock me out of their runs, how will I learn?"... My response is, "The same way the experienced people learned. By doing the content." Yes, it goes a lot faster if you can have at least one experienced person in there -- especially over voicechat, so they can do callouts and such -- but it's not impossible. And like someone said, the experienced players who first figured out the mechanics and how to deal with them... they wrote the guides to allow other people to learn the fights quicker.
