    Frankly, that's a crappy attitude.
And that's a valid argument, which I haven't disregarded. I'm just saying, don't be so quick to say "I don't want to carry noobs" because things like that only drive away potential additions to the farm pool, because people like me will be less likely to work hard to learn a fight to join people who look down on others.

Edit to add: I'm a skilled healer, and I learn quick. What I lack these days that keeps me from being a competitive raider is time. I don't have a lot of time to waste either, my game time is as precious as yours. Yes, there are douches that cheat the PF groups and ruin it for everyone. Those same people are the ones crapping all over Diadem and ruining it for others too. I just think having an actual game mechanic way to block new people is going to be used as a way to abuse new people, and that doesn't sit well with me.

A PF is already stating no newbies, yet those who know absolutely nothing are still able to join and mess up a farm group.

Sure there will be those that can beat this fight even though they have bonus, but these type of people have already practiced and practiced this fight and will actually ask the pf leader if they are allowed to join.

The only way going to understand this, is once you experience it yourself.

If I have spent 40hrs on a fight to master it, the last thing I want is someone with 0minutes of experience coming in and being a dead weight.

I'm really sorry to say this, but... you just contradicted yourself there. Considering the whole "I don't want to carry noobs" was said specifically in relation to the issue with those noobs who are being jerks who lie (either outright by saying "Yeah, I've cleared this", or by omission by just keeping their mouth shut even when the question of "Ok, who gave us the 'new player bonus' message?") in order to join farm parties... if you're ignoring that whole premise, you are disregarding the issue/argument.

The majority of people arguing for this PF option have several times during the thread stated that they like joining practice and/or clear parties. But not when they have planned to do a series of quick runs of, say, Bismarck Ex for the weapon glamours.

As to the whole question of "If all the experienced players lock me out of their runs, how will I learn?"... My response is, "The same way the experienced people learned. By doing the content." Yes, it goes a lot faster if you can have at least one experienced person in there -- especially over voicechat, so they can do callouts and such -- but it's not impossible. And like someone said, the experienced players who first figured out the mechanics and how to deal with them... they wrote the guides to allow other people to learn the fights quicker.
